I will check it out and see what happens next.Re: Running lights but no brake or turn signal enblethen wrote: Did you find the trailer connector fuses? There should be two for each function. Did you locate any relays in the fuse box for the trailer connector functions? If you have try swapping them with the trailer tailight one. It could have ate the relays. Thanks. Where exactly would I find the trailer connector fuses? I have checked all my fuses and they all seem to be working. I'm having some difficulty determining exactly which ones control which functions. I've checked the wiring and there doesn't seem to be any visible problems. I'm ready to pull my hair on this one.Re: Problem # 2 Hot Water Heater enblethen wrote: There is water in the tank! Verify that the thermal couple is directly in the flame. Replace thermal couple. I replaced the thermocouple. Should the pilot flame be orange or blue? I cleaned the pilot assembly and the flame got smaller but bluer. now the thermocouple is not directly in the flame. No change in amount of time burner burns. I'm really new at this so how do I know whether or not there is water in the tank. All the valves seem to be open and I have turned on the hot water lines.Re: Problem # 2 Hot Water HeaterThanks. I cleaned the pilot assembly and am getting a tighter bluer flame and the pilot burns longer but it still goes out when the burner goes out after about a minute. I check the rest of the things listed.Problem # 2 Hot Water HeaterI have an Atwood G6A-Seven hot water heater in my 2002 Jayco Hybrid. It lights very easy but the burner only stays on for 2 or 3 minutes before going out. Sometimes when I turn it from "pilot" to "on" it blows the pilot light out but every time the burner quits the pilot goes out. Very Frustrated.Re: Running lights but no brake or turn signal Dr Quick wrote: Try this with your trailer battery connected. When you look at the connector from the trailer and the "index" it up, the 11 o'clock position is the hot or 12 volt to your trailer battery. Use a small jumper wire from 11 to 1 and the running lights will come on and also the tail lights. Go to the 9 or 3 position and the brake/turn lights should come on one at a time. It lights come on, the problem is in the truck, if not, the problem is in the trailer wiring. If tail lights or turn/stop lights do not work, it could be a bad ground to the rear lights. Two other vehicles have been hooked up to it and the trailer lights have worked properly. The only thing left to check is the fuses. I have checked them before.Re: Running lights but no brake or turn signal Hornnumb2 wrote: If the vehicle lights are working correctly then it has to be in the truck plug, some of the factory ones just plug into a harness by the spare tire. Lay under there and follow the wire. Might just need to be unplugged to make good contact. Ok this is the last thing I have tried. Nothing works. The vehicle lights work and the running lights work. When I tested the male ends of the plug under the car I got no light on my tester. I get one light of the 7 posts on the trailer plug. Man is this frustrating.Re: Running lights but no brake or turn signal nickthehunter wrote: Have you ever used this trailer connector before? Is it one turn signal or both? Generally, the stop lamp and the turn signal are the same wire, but not always. If it's just one turn signal, that narrows the problem down to one wire. You need to get a volt meter and check the one wire and figure out the problem. If it's both turn signals, all bets are off. Yes, but not since buying this camper.Re: Running lights but no brake or turn signal ScottG wrote: Um, what vehicle? Sorry 2006 TahoeRunning lights but no brake or turn signalI've hooked up to other trailers and I have the same problems. It really seems to be in my vehicle. Any suggestions.
