Our question is, how do you figure how thick the planks should be. We have found 5mm up 7mm at Home Depot. Also, would we need to use the lippert slide slickers to keep the slide from scratching up the floor? Thanks for any info!Re: Bad lands areaMy husband and i just got back from almost this same trip. Just my opinion but this little 69 year old Arkansas girl was in awe of all of it! As a retired Kindergarten teacher, I had only read about and watched on YouTube these beautiful places.I did not let the $5 parking and entrance fees stop me, and so glad! I love history and feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to visit each of these places!ETA: We also went to Cody and the Buffalo Bill Museum is a must!Cody to Billings Help!Hey, having some truck issues and need to hit 90 at Billings instead of the way we came through mountains on 16. Yes, it is just for a rest stop and leg stretcher!??Re: Sturgis to CodyThanks all.Yes we are waking up early and driving in one day from sturgis to Buffalo Bill state Park outside of Cody. I guess i was more worried about the road and the grade. From sturgis to gillette to buffalo and on to cody. I found diesel fuel stops and a rest area. The mountain pull is my unknown. I know it will be a long day but the getting there is part of our adventure! Never been up there before so sightseeing along the way will be awesome for us, no kids, just me and dh!Re: Sturgis to CodyHey thanks! I was looking at trip wizard for diesel stops and was not familiar with the stations it had listed. I think i found one travel stop!
