They are great in the snow also.Re: Air Bag PressureMy pin weight is about 2900lbs I put about 30lbs and that seem to work find, don't need them but I had them from my other truck so instead of letting them sitting around I use them, well not my air bag but my controller by airlift.Re: Dish pay as you go, and Pathfinder DishI have the Dish with the King tailgater pro and I do the pay-as-you-go I love it.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics here HarleyEnough wrote: Out with the old. 2011 Ram 3500 SRW Cummins with 14,500 original miles lol. Trailer was unloaded so real test will be the first camping trip with the Raptor. Plus only used a quarter of a tank of fuel! I'm going to love that 50 gallon fuel tank. Now time to clean and ceramic coat it. I have a B&W companion coming to replace the Reese Elite I had in the old truck. Re: Majestic washer dryer comboMost people goes with Spendide.Re: Do I need air bags?Okay this is what I wanted to hear I will be going out in it next month I had bought the air lift bag with the jounce but I had them to refund my money until I take it out, I think that I can save that money for something else, more diesel fuel. Thank you.Re: Do I need air bags?I have been looking at getting air bag myself since I just bought my new 1 ton I haven't had a chance to take it out yet but I did hook it up to see how much it sag, what do you think and yes my legs are up off of the blocks. My 5'er gvwr is 12700 lbs 20% of that is 2540 lbs Truck payload is 3800 lbs Okay I'm going to try it without air bag after my first run and see if I want them or not. The truck do look level so will I benefit on getting bags still?Re: Hitch choice dryfly wrote: Let me re-phrase my question as I am not asking about the pros and cons of a pull test. I've heard the arguments for the proceedure, and they are all worthwhile. I'm assuming one can see the jaws are wrapped around the pin correctly, the handle is closed correctly, and the locking pin is in the pull handle. Based on this, couldn't you "visually" tell if you are high hitched or not? If NOT, is there any way you could drop the trailer on the bed, unless the hitch had a defect? I know that I have always lower the kingpin before I get all the way in lower than the hitch and as I'm backing in the kingpin ride up on the pad of the hitch and seat itself into the locking claw. I have never drop it in I don't know that way only what I have been told by the dealer. ( I know I'm in trouble now) listening to the dealer and we know where that will get you.
