When you could get the treatments that had formaldehyde (like Thetford Campa Chem) we used them part of the time. Usually last dose of a trip. These worked pretty well. Ones without formaldehyde don't work very well and we don't usually use any of them. I don't think they do any good. Keeping a good amount of water in the tank is as good as anything. Re: anybody have experience with Lippert Straptek system? He may be able to fix this by using a higher hitch ball. I personally am leary of the straps lasting very long, especially if used with heavy trailers that have over 1,000 lbs. of hitch weight.Re: 2 Questions about the Pink StuffI used to worry about what kind of RV antifreeze to use too. I got mine from Atwoods or Orschelns usually. Don't remember the brand but it did not contain alcohol. The last 8 or 10 years I have been blowing the system out with air and not worrying about anti freeze. Works good and is less messy and doesn't cost anything if you have a sizeable air compressor. I don't mean we need to get rid of the stupid people. Just remove all the warning labels and let everything sort itself out.
