Can someone recommend a nearby campground for a 37 ft fifth wheel? Also some advice regarding routes . ThanksLadies: to color or not to color??Has anyone colored their own hair while rving ? Am afraid rinsing out the color would make a real mess in the trailer bathroom or even campground bath house. Any comments?:)Re: texas coastthanks folks. I have visited Padre Island and it was quite windy, is this typical?texas coastLooking to spend a month along TX coast this Dec. Like to do some fishing, kayaking, hiking and enjoy local restaurants. Organized activities not especially interested in, or crowded sites. Any recommendations?FLAGSTAFF AIRPORTTowing a 36ft fifth wheel to AZ and will be picking up daughter at the Flagstaff Airport. Does anyone have any knowledge of the airport layout? Is there a RV waiting area and would our trailer height be a problem driving to the arrival area? Thanks for any info.Re: Campground close to Havasupai. They now have helicopter flights down to the falls. We hiked it in my younger days and it's a beautiful trip although not necessarily for the faint of heart. Some of the drop offs are a long way down and the trail is more of a path. They also have mules and horses that use the same trail. They have the right of way over hikers. Enjoy the trip but it's not one where you'll hike down in the morning and up in the evening. The Supai have accommodations for overnight stays near the falls. There are actually three falls there and each is unique. One you can walk the trail BEHIND the falls...don't miss it....Dennis Thanks for the info. We are working on getting "in shape" to do this hike, but I am concerned about the drop offs etc. I have a fear of heights and already know I won't be doing Mooney Falls. I worry that I might chicken out and leave the family "hanging".Re: Campground close to Havasupai. AZ bigblueok wrote: Hoping to visit Havasupai Falls. Anyone know of a campground that isn't terribly far away? Have a 36ft. 5er. Thanks Just to clarify, looking for a campground to stay at before hiking to the falls, not down at the falls.Re: Campground close to Havasupai. AZ bigblueok wrote: Hoping to visit Havasupai Falls.
