No, it would not necessarily have a water leak or even a drip on the suction side because there is very little pressure even when the pump is nor running and when running the pump is sucking air into the system. Somewhat like a crack in a plastic soda straw.Re: 5th Wheel lock to the truckYears ago I did have a receiver hitch stolen in Houston. Yes thieves will steal stuff you would not expect. Also when they are stealing weight is not as much of an issue as you might think.Re: Fifth wheel hitch theftYears ago I had a receiver hitch stolen off the back of my truck in Houston. I use locks on all my hitches now.Re: Did I make a mistake in Financing? How long do you finance?OP, if you can refinance to 5% then add $60 per month that would keep the payment at approx. the SAME $225 per month. that would cut five years off the loan and reduce the amount of total interest paid from near $20,000 to about $5,600. For some others here, I am fortunate, I have done without and saved all my life. I now can pay cash. I detest being in debt. As for as "finicial genius" I like most of us, wasn't born with that knowledge, It had to be learned on my own because it wasn't taught in school. I will attempt to give the best advise I can, and not rag on someone trying to learn and be responsible.Re: Did I make a mistake in Financing? Hey OP, as long as you make the payment and it's not killing you, Enjoy. I agree, your interest rate is not the greatest in the current environment, and agree with the poster that suggests you explore refinance options that may be available to you. If a re-fi cut 4 points or so off you interest rate that's some nice savings........... Yankeeslover, thomasmnile also has excellent advise. Refinancing at one or two percent may not be cost effective due to refinancing fees but three or four percent may well be worthwhile. Get all the facts first and look at any new loan on an amortization calc. Yes they can be an eye opener. I would almost NEVER agree on selling anything at a big loss as some suggest. Sounds to me that you have things under control but saving a few thousand in interest would be handy. The main thing though, you have a nice RV now so enjoy it.Re: Did I make a mistake in Financing? I pay roughly $225.00 per month...If I divide by 12 that comes to $19.00...if I pay $20.00 more per month, what will this acchive? will that even put a dent in what I owe? im just courious...... thanks... With what figures you gave it looks like (to me at least) that $20. a month would cut two years or more off the life of the loan.Re: Did I make a mistake in Financing? How long do you finance?OP, try this amortization calculator and put in your numbers and extra payment amounts each month. you may see that adding even an extra $50 per month when possible may take years off of your loan. Run a lot of different numbers through it and it can be an eye opener. also look up other similar calculators and try them. link http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/mortgages/amortization-calculator.aspx?ec_id=m1024923&s_kwcid=AL!1325!3!41196398408!e!!s!!loan+amortization&ef_id=Uw0z5QAAAB9ietPP%3a20140324164154%3asRe: Sliding/swiveling flat screen TV mountThis is the one I got and it seems quite sturdy. When I bought it new in 1973 I paid $4,000 and that included the hitch welded to my truck and brake controller mounted. How times have changed, that was nine trailers ago.Re: ac comes on with heat unitMFL, you beat me to it. : )
