Just wondering. My family and I are weekend warriors, so we tow back to the storage spot every weekend. Obviously, we retract the slides when in storage. Any harm, just leaving the slides out all the time when we do go seasonal next year? This is our first slide experience, so excuse me if this is a dumb question! ;-)Great Collapsable OttomanJust wanted to pass this along. Great for RVer's. Sets up or collapses quickly without any tools. Very sturdy. I sat on it (ahem, 250 + lbs. lately) and it held me just fine. When its collapsed its only about 2.5 to 3 inches thick! My 5.0 f150 with 3.55 gears tows it great. I think your old Chevy might have been geared too high. You have more than enough truck with that Duramax. Overkill even. But you did say a 5th wheel was in your future, so you'll be ready when that time comes for sure.Re: What Do I Need??? Help!!!! ;-)http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/12-propane-hose-assembly/67312 Well, here's what I orderd.....Re: New RVers with old gearI would be willing to bet you have airplane gears in that Blazer. Find someone to swap in some 3.73's or 3.92's and you'll be golden. After all, this would have been a common combination of tt and tv back in the day. The great thing about those old Chevy's is that they are cheap an easy to work on and parts are plentiful. Love it by the way! What Do I Need??? Help!!!! ;-)This topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27113753What Do I Need??? Help!!!! ;-)I just purchased a Coleman cts262bh that has a propane quick connect at the back of the camper to connect a grill to. I have a small Blue Rhino Grill that has served me well. It takes the the small screw on propane cylinders. Is there a hose I can buy to tap into my rv's propane supply to use my grill? Thanks for the info in advance!Re: Tow vehiclesWe just purchased a Coleman cts262bh. Dry weight according to the sticker on the side says 6774 lbs.. Its about 32 ft from stem to stern. My truck is a 2013 f150 5.0 with 3.55 gears. The truck maxes out at 8100 lbs.. I know I am testing the limits of this truck, but I have to say, it pulls it great. It has a tranny heat gauge that has never gone beyond halfway. Next time around, I will go with a f150 Ecoboost and 3.73's with the max tow package, just to put a little more distance between me and the max limits.
