I just installed a set of Air Lift on the back of my F53. I took a trip to the Finger Lakes NY and had mine set at 50 psi and loved the way it sat and handled. I also installed a on-board remotely controlled air compressor set it at 50 psi and it's automatic and I'm good to go and change it on the move. Best thing since sliced bread. It is normal for them to lose some air and have to readjust the pressure. Or that test would also be an indication of low freon.Re: Kwikee steps hummingI had to replace the linkage when mine did that. Easy do it yourself job. Nothing is cheap on those steps.JimRe: Which 50 amp surge protectorThere's only one as far as I'm concerned, "Progressive" JimRe: Fuse locationI know on mine when the fuse was blown it was because of the nut on the back of the lighter became loose and shorted across the terminals.Yours may be different but my fuses were located under a cover on top of the dash on the drivers side. Hope this is of some help. JimRe: Steering lockedIf it would make you feel better you could ratchet strap the steering wheel to the base of the seat. JimRe: headlight replacementYou can Google your numbers you have. Mine are the same as my 1997 Ford F-250 and I picked them up on e-bay. Jim
