Dust proofing
We spend a lot of time on dirt roads, and dust infiltration has been our most serious problem. I have caulked and sealed everywhere but dust still gets in, primarily at the bottom of the (rear) entry door. In addition the rear wall of the camper collects dirt & dust on every surface. It occurs to me that a truck-width mud flap below the rear bumper might help. Has anyone any experience with these? I am thinking of a single flap, the full width of the truck, and hanging down to within a few inches of the road. Thanks . . I purchased and installed the Camera-Source kit on our Ram a year ago. The camera worked well, but failed after 3 months. Camera-Source replaced it immediately, no questions asked. Hwy 722 is a great route. A little steep & winding up the canyon at the west end, but otherwise no problem. Several dirt roads off along the way..but a lot of ranches/farms at the east end. Just before you start up the hill from the west, turn north on a dirt road and find your way to the edge of the dry lakebed. Lots of great places but beware of rain.577Views0likes0Comments
