All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsdometic ac shutting down at nightmy dometic a/c runs fine during the day but shuts down at night. i can get it going again by turning the thermostat off then back on. it will run for several minutes then shut down again. i've noticed that when it does the compressor and fan shut down at the same time. i'm thinking that when it is working right, the compressor shuts down then the fan a few seconds later. the control board has been replaced and the thermostat inside replaced. problem seemed to disappear for a couple months but returned. i have read other post about the same problem with their dometic a/c but have not read of a solution. at present, it gets into the 60's here at night but the inside temp is above 70.Re: Arctic Fox black tank valve glued in?Try loosing the clamp and see if it pulls out. I dont have ur trailer but on mine there is a rubberized nozzle coming out of the black tank. The 3" line slips inside the nozzle and the hose clamp goes around the nozzle. The black valve usually bolts in between 2 flanges that are glued in the 3" line from the black tank.Re: TPMSI have the internals on the trailer and the screw ons on the truck. I had the screw ons on the trailer leak (loosen slightly). They were also tmps. That hasn't happened with the ones purchased last year. My main reason for getting the internals is that I have had tire installers put the rubber stems in even though I insisted on metal. Once u install internals, you will have to make sure anyone working on the tire knows u have internal sensors. The won't expect them on a trailer tire. Another reason is the tire balance..I have my trailer tires balanced. Although I believe the effects of the weight is minimal, I just feel better abt the internals (tire is balanced with the sensors installed). ?
