Thought since my water pump and my lights worked, the fan would work too.Re: furnace problemsPlease forgive my ignorance, I am in no way tech minded. My thoughts is that I could just plug the camper plug into the AC outlet of the jackery and power the whole camper. And it does. The outlets work, The lights work and they are 12V so I assumed it could power the blower since it is 12v too. I did put a multi meter on the thermostat and limit switch both ways, jackery and shore power. The jackery is reading just over 11v, where the shore power is reading 12.5v.furnace problemsI have an older Hydro Flame furnace in my truck camper that I have a problem with. I did the normal things of cleaning all the nets dead bugs and such out of the system. Got everything cleaned, gas leaks stopped, got the pilot to light(I have the model 8012 that you have to hold and turn the pilot knob) I finally got the pilot to light and the furnace to fire and produce heat. This was on shore power. I have a Jackery 1000watt power pack with 110 outlets. I plugged into the power pack, blower motor started as it should, pilot lit, but the furnace would not fire. I changed back and forth several time from shore power and power pack. Furnace fired on shore power but not on power pack. The power pack is fully charged and operates normally. What can be the problem? Please help.Re: hydro flame furnace problemThat looks promising. I need to look to see if the gas port that attaches to the burner chamber plate will unscrew from the brass fitting and aluminum tube. If so this might work if I completely run out of options. Thankshydro flame furnace problemhello and I do hope I am posting this in the right location. I have an older TC with a hydro flame furnace Model 8012 12k btu. I am trying to get it going but have run into a problem. I've taken it apart and cleaned out loads of bug carcasses and dust and webs and nests. Got assembled again and went to light pilot and no go. I checked all the fittings and found 2 leaks, both from the line that runs from the pilot valve into the burner plate. Brass fittings and aluminum line. I cannot find a replacement part for this and am at a dead end. Is there a work around? Can I pipe dope the heck out of the fittings? I just don't know what to do next. I've got camping world looking into it too but as of yet nothing.Re: roof weight limitI didn't. Used a ladder and got half way. Thanks.roof weight limitI have a Sun Lite Eagle 1982. I would like to get on the roof and do some repairs. Is there a weight limit on these roofs. I weigh 265lbs and do not want to crash through. Would the roof hold my weight?Connecting truck to TCamperHello, just joined the forum because I am a new owner of a 1982 Sun lite eagle TC. I am going thru it trying to familiarize myself with the workings of it. My question is on topic as to plugging the TC to the truck. I have a trailer harness plug at the rear of my truck and I have a round 4 pin plug on the front driver side of the TC. I was going to run an extension from truck hitch to the front plug of the TC. While inspecting the round 4 pin plug, it only had 3 wires running from it into the camper, with one pin not connected. Green White and Black. I have only the lights running along the roof of the camper. No turn signal or brake lights. I guess my question really is what does that plug operate? Is that for the running/cargo lights and for connecting 12v from truck to power the trailer 12v? Thank You.
