My wife and I went to Alaska last year thru Alberta, British Columbia and up to the Yukon and price of fuel did not stop us. And for the year we towed our 5th wheel just under10,000 miles. You can't take it with you. I'll never let fuel prices stop me from doing what I want to and as far as reservations did not have any problems making them and we stayed in 37 rv parks with no issues with reservations.822Views0likes0CommentsRe: Cummins longevity and maintence
I have a 2016 Ram with the Cummins with 87,000 miles and have been towing our 5th wheel about 15,000 miles and no issues, I change the oil when needed, fuel filters when needed and all of the other fluids going by the manual and have NO issues but also I'm not an idiot pulling my trailer at 80 miles an hour. I'm retired so I'm not in a hurry to get there, yes I know anything can happen but how you drive has a lot on how long vehicles can last.470Views0likes0CommentsRe: Cummins longevity and maintence

We are full-time rver's for over 3 year's and we own a 3/4 ton Ram with the Cummins and have no problem towing our 38ft 5 wheel. Everyone wants a 40 footer or bigger and that's why you would need a 1ton. We have towed so far over 15,000 miles and have had no issues with our setup.579Views0likes0Comments
