We got tired of dealing with the clips, hitting our legs on them etc. These things have worked great so far, only used them on a couple trips. I think she found them at CW...Re: Looking 4 cabin in the Smokies? FloridaReLoaded wrote: you can't beat Watershedcabins out of Bryson. Little pricey but every cabin is luxury including free firewood at each cabin along with hot tubs. You wont be disappointed. X2!!! We have stayed in many different Watershed cabins, and have never been disappointed!Re: Any info on Hunting Island Campground?? AikenRacer wrote: I understand that Hunting Island campground will open next week. Also understand that all 88 sites on the beach side were wiped out but all the wooded sites have been upgraded with new water lines and 50 amp. Just wondering if anyone has seen this area. Also would like to know if they cleared out any of the trees to make the navigation through there easier for larger rigs. Just trying to figure out where we can fit. Have not seen any revised campground maps. Does anyone have any info on this place?? We will be at the beach next week. We will drive through, and get an update.Re: Thoughts on Palomino Soltaire 304rkds.We just bought a new Solaire 316RLTS, and LOVE it!!! We also had a Jayco for 13 years and had no problems. Not many Solaires out there, but after much research chose ours for the floorplan, and features. We just got back from a week at Myrtle Beach (our 5th trip this year) with no problems. The only issues has been a bad crimp on a pex line under the camper, and a broken shroud in one of the A/C units, both repaired quickly by the dealer. Other than that, we installed a Steadyfast system to stop the shaking, not a big fan of the electric stabilizers...Great unit, easy towing, spacious etc...Good luck on your purchase!!!Re: Outside LCD MountLooks good!!Re: Dangers of campground lot ownership K Charles wrote: Bird Freak wrote: K Charles wrote: The OP says he is not paying property tax so does he really own the lot? Read it again. OP does pay property tax. After reading it again I see "actually own lots instead of renting and pay property tax" which to me looks like he doesn't rent AND pay property tax. Renters don't pay property tax, usually. I think the OP meant that he doesn't rent, but pays property tax instead. Just my opinion...Re: Savannah GA and Charleston SC campground and tursTry Skidaway Island State Park, just outside of Savannah. Not sure of the trolley schedule there, but a small clean park with big sites. I've not been to Red Gate, but have heard it's a neat place as well. James island in Charleston is awesome. Safe travels!!!Re: Pulled the triggerCongrats on the new rig!! Have fun, and enjoy...Re: Need recommendations for Travel Trailer D-C-Johnson wrote: Check this floor plan out, we are soon to be purchasing this, it is 31 ft nose to tail and as it sits on the lot it weighs 5200lb, the only down side is the master queen is a rv queen and only 75in long but using an extender pushes it to 80in cheep fix other than that very roomy unit low weight. http://www.crrvc.com/listings/coachmen-apex-288bhs/ D-C, We also just bought from CRRVC, and had a great experience.
