I just assumed it would be safer with the "bigger" camper turn signals, but if Lance did not install them they must not be required. In fact, now that I know what to google I can see another couple of examples of 835 owners talking about the fact that their camper only has running lights. Well, I think that's the end of this thread. Thanks everyone for the help!Re: 2001 Lance 835 Signal Lights Exact Mass wrote: My 835 doesn't have turn signals. I assume it came from the factory that way because I got it new. Granted mine is a '04 so it may be different than yours. Well that would explain a lot! Last night I looked and couldn't find those wires anywhere in the giant bundle under the step. Does yours have the brake lights hooked up? If not I don't even see any reason to go through the hassle of connecting the truck to the camper!Re: 2001 Lance 835 Signal LightsAwesome, just sent you an email. I've removed the step (there was a piece of carpet covering it the previous owner put there to keep the original carpet clean) and I can see a handful of extra wires but no brown or red yet. I'll dig deeper in an hour or two here. Thanks so much for your help and for offering to send me the wiring diagram! -SamRe: 2001 Lance 835 Signal LightsThat would be a little strange since the 14 gauge green wire diagrammed in the owner's manual to be the running lights, is there and works properly when hooked up to the green wire from my 7 pin connector. But I suppose anything is possible! I don't see any place on the plywood where screw holes have been abandoned. Thanks for the ideas so far!Re: 2001 Lance 835 Signal LightsNope, I've been unable to locate that fuse block, maybe it was optional? I've read other threads that suggest looking under the step but mine appears to be firmly nonremovable.Re: 2001 Lance 835 Signal LightsAwesome, thanks!2001 Lance 835 Signal LightsHi all! First post here, but I've been reading off of the forum for a while. I bought an 01 Lance 835 a few weeks ago and it has a standard Pollock 7 pin connector for lights/charging. I've been able to get 12v/ground, as well as running lights working, but the left and right turn signal wires as well as the brake light wires coming off of the 7 pin connector (under the sink) are just sitting there unconnected. My guess is the original owner replaced the 6 pin Lance connector and didn't bother to hook anything up other than the running lights. I'd like to remedy this, but so far my efforts have been fruitless. I've located a copy of the 2001 owners guide (owners manual) and on page 31 I see a wiring diagram that shows that I should be able to just connect the wires coming off of my 7 pin connector directly to the standard wire colors (e.g. red for left turn, brown for right turn). The trouble is, I don't see any of those color wires underneath my sink! (The couple of loose wires are all wires I've disconnected while diagnosing my issue, don't worry!) Does anyone have any magical knowledge that could help me out here? Thanks! -Sam
