Doesn't make you a bad person. Re-price it if you want. You have no professional, ethical or moral obligations here. It was an honest mistake. The rig is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. Taking it off the market for a couple of months is just plain silly. Why do it? How does it benefit you? I think your own suggestion was the best one yet. Let the interested parties know you will accept offers up to a certain date. Then take the best one. If that transaction falls apart you can always go back to the next best offer. Or the one after that. The interest is clear. These buyers, or at least one of them, will still be put there. One is all you need. Good Luck!Re: Bump on 2019 Eagle?I have the same thing on my trailer. I seriously doubt it is excess fiberglass. Most likely something "under the skin" or too long of a screw. I did not notice it until I had the trailer a while (don't remember how long). I decided to live with it. Any repair may be worse than the original problem. It has not gotten worse in any way after five years of use. I suppose it is up to the comfort level of each individual buyer as to what, if anything, to do about some of these issues.Re: Coachmen mirada 29fw vs Thor Hurricane 29MShe may feel better about used if you promise to replace the bedding and possibly reupholster the furniture. Good luck!Re: no RV parking Lynnmor wrote: shelbyfv wrote: I don't understand why folks who don't have HOAs get so excited about them. Maybe they are concerned that the freedom is this country is going downhill at a rapid rate. Maybe they understand that their freedom to live where they want is keeping them outside of many areas. Maybe they don't like the fact that those who cannot or will not do much of anything are limiting their ability to be free. Fake news!Re: Perhaps one should practice a little. How will they ever learn if they don't repeatedly try on their own? I think they deserve credit for their perseverance. Rudeness not so much but we can all agree it can be frustrating at times, especially in the beginning. So we may not see the best manners in such a situation. I wouldn't take it personally and I wouldn't make a judgment in those circumstances. Many times I've had park hosts "guide" me in only to have to re-position. Even after informing them where I need space and how much. Those of you who revel in other people's difficulties really need to do some self-evaluation.Re: Gas Smell from Furnace Vent/OutputSeems to me he already knows there is a leak. Why do further testing? He needs to find the leak, not confirm it. Replace the valve and see what happens. If it still leaks maybe it's a bad hose somewhere. Or the furnace iitself.Re: "Towing a trailer can be dangerous" youtube videoNot exactly scientific. Or if it was it wasn't explained. What was the weight ratio between the car and the trailer? What was the ratio between the model car and a real car? Was it the same as the ratio between the model trailer and a real trailer? On and on. Not arguing with the premise. Just saying.Re: Is This Extended Warranty Some Kind of A Joke? SpeakEasy wrote: When I bought my truck, the person at the dealership who "handles" the paperwork gave me a really hard sell to get me to buy the Ford extended warranty. I NEVER buy these things, but she offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. I won't go into the details, but I bought it. Cost me about $1700. Then I started reading the fine print. The thing that got me the most was when i read that any parts that were damaged as a result of a failure of a covered part were not covered. There were other issues as well, including the fact that I misunderstood the total # of miles covered (as a result of misrepresentation, I maintain). Long story short, I was able to cancel the sale that day and get a refund. At least the dealership was kind enough to me to let me do that. But the thing about damage to non-covered parts that happens as a result of failure of covered parts seemed to me to be an awfully big exclusion. Lesson learned. No more extended warranties for me. -Speak The dealer likely wasn't being "kind". I think NYS law requires a 3 day review period that allows you to cancel the contract. This would also be in the "small print" area of the agreement. Either way I'm glad you got out. I believe those warranties are all a waste of money for the vast majority of consumers.Re: NY Times - As Elkhart goes 2012Coleman wrote: captnjack wrote: I imagine the fox would be a reliable source of information with a unique perspective. Gotta love those "alternative facts"!Re: NY Times - As Elkhart goes Lynnmor wrote: captnjack wrote: The author interviewed the following individuals for the article: An area university professor of economics. A US Senator from IN. The president of the RV Association. A County Commissioner. The president of the local chamber of commerce. A representative from Dometic. So when he reports on hen houses, does he interview the foxes? I imagine the fox would be a reliable source of information with a unique perspective. So I would want that fox interviewed. But at least five of the six people I listed could not realistically be described as foxes here. More like farmers.
