I have a Pathway X2 paired with a Wally and attached hard drive. I didn't get charged to add the hard drive for DVR use. Also have a 211Z for a back-up. Works great.

Xfinity Mobile. Uses Verizon network. Only available to internet subscribers. You only pay for data, $12 a gig or $45 unlimited. My bill last month was $14.23. And the phones connect to Xfinity hotspots when available. Traveling through just about any city we have wifi available the whole time.

Don't know about the 2012 but my 2019 has a plug-in outside for solar to be attached.
