When it says it is rated 4K with 18" lift, is that referring to the tongue weight or the trailer weight? All force bearing on the jack, which includes not just the trailer's gross tongue weight but also the weight of the tow vehicle as you elevate the rear in order to more easily mount weight distribution spring bars. +1Re: Tornadoes in the Southeast DownTheAvenue wrote: Not only are they unpredictable, they are pin point in where they strike. Take a map of the southeast. They are of no concern whatsoever. The likelihood of being affected by a tornado while traveling the Southeast is extremely minimal. +1Re: Won't someone please make rugged small trailers?? korbe wrote: In general, I normally think the market finds where the demand is. If there is a large enough "hole in the market", I would think it would get filled. Right now, in general, it looks like we, the consumer, want bigger, and cheaper rigs - because we don't want to pay more. +1Re: Fridge Question SoundGuy wrote: JWRoberts wrote: The bottom line is if it is level enough for you, then it's level enough for the fridge. I doubt seriously if not being level is your problem. The OP first said - "As of right now I have it parked in my yard, which isn't exactly level." and later followed that with - "Ok if half bubble out is the max then I'm way off". "Way off" doesn't sound level enough for occupancy and therefore not good for the fridge considering we know that any gas absorption fridge operated beyond leveling specs recommended by the manufacturer can begin to suffer damage to the cooling unit in as little as 15 minutes. If this rig has been sitting for days or weeks "way off" level with the fridge running then it shouldn't be any surprise at all that the cooling unit may already be partially blocked, as evidenced by poor cooling efficiency. :( I didn't read the OP posts carefully enough. I missed the part about 'way off'. You are correctRe: Fridge QuestionThe bottom line is if it is level enough for you, then it's level enough for the fridge.
