When you say cushy couch can you say it's a lot more comfortable than a dinette? The 6' couch replacement for the dinette is waaay more comfortable for us. We have owned both the dinette and side couch models of the Host Mammoth. The dinette back rest is vertical and the U seating under the window is cramped. The table is the icing on the cake. It is adjustable at any height, so it works for meals, computer use, and kickin' back and resting your legs on its surface. It's in-and-out adjustment works well for calorically challenged users. And, it's easy to slide fore and aft for easy exit from either end of the couch. Of course, this is just a personal preference, so it's probably best for you to test both models first. Which layout would you recommend for a family with 2-3 kids?Re: Time for 19.5 tires againI’ve ran a couple pairs of the Hankook and they seem to handle wet roads poorly. I’d recommend something else.Re: Adios...Again!Any have an email address for Kevin Barker with Apache?Re: Trip Report -- Lake Chelan and MillingThank you for sharing those amazing pictures and details! Sounds like a great gig you have going there. Feel free to share your YouTube page.Re: Trip Report -- Lake Chelan and MillingCool setup!! Is this a job that you preformed for a customer? I could see a nice small business traveling along to various jobs with the camper and mill. You could probably see the whole country and mill along as you travel.Re: Ordered Host MammothLooking forward to some pics of those stairs. Thanks!! What are some of the customizations that Host will do for the Mammoth? I'm sure there a a lot!Re: Ordered Host MammothHas anyone modified the stairs for the 5500?Re: Truck Camper University-Projects/Repairs/Replacements & TipsAnEv, Could you please reply to my above post? Maybe a date next to new additions or some sort of indication would be nice so we know what's been added. Maybe you could just post a reply as to what's been added when you add it. Thank you!Re: A recommended dash cam brand/model?After some research it looks like foxoffer has an upgraded version of the G1W. They call it the G1W C because they elimintated the battery and replaced it with a capacitor. Much safer it sounds! Dash Cam Talk had a ton of info about all models. I'm going with the G1WC thanks to all the reviews.Re: Putting on TST tire monitorsWhat model of TST sensor is everyone going with these days? I like the idea of the flow through ones for simplicity. However, I wonder if they work well with a dually. There might be a clearance problem on my truck.
