The trailer does not have its house battery. I am not sure why my uncle removed it and I can't ask him (no longer with us). I will probably install dual batteries. Can someone tell me where the converter is located on my trailer? I just want to check to make sure the converter is working. Actually, I may want to replace it. I also have a class A so I have some experience doing this sort of work.Re: Installing solar panels on roof of my BounderColo Native... I like your installation because you can unbolt the panel without pulling the dicor and the screws out of the roof. By the way, what was the length of your #10 screws?Re: Installing solar panels on roof of my BounderI have a rubber roof... what kind of glue?Installing solar panels on roof of my BounderI am planning to install solar panels on the roof of my Bounder. I call Fleetwood and they said that the plywood is 1/8" thick. I have seen panels installed on other RV's, including Bounders, and it looks as though the installation went well. In fact, most of the folks that I have seen installing the panels (youtube videos) don't seem to even screw into structural members. For those of you who have installed panels, can you tell me how you secured your panels to the roof? For those who attached only to structural members (like the ribs, etc), how did you locate those members?Re: In and out of RV park to go sightseeingThanks to all of you for your quick replies. I have a couple of cones that I can place in the empty spot and, just as a courtesy, like the RV park office know that we will be out for a few hours upon leaving. In and out of RV park to go sightseeingOk, a couple of questions... As a new RV'er I have not stayed in an RV park yet. We will are traveling in a small Class A motorhome (30 ft) without a TOAD. If we stay at an RV park for a few days, can we go in and out of the park to go sightseeing each day? Is this normal? Also, I've overnighted at an RV park last week and as I was leaving I stopped by the office to "check out". The owner smiled at me like I was doing something silly and said, "yeah, yeah... have a nice day". He didn't even ask me my spot number. Is it customery to check out like one does at a hotel or do we just drive out without stopping to check out?
