I had a 2003 F350 previously with the 7.3L diesel. Hopefully I won't need the DPK but I consider it insurance. Good luck. Re: Furrion Chill HE 15K low profile review I believe that is the one that was reviewed on "Big Truck Big RV". You might check that out on YouTube. Re: Powerstroke CP4 I have a 2016 F350 with the 6.7 diesel. I had the S&S DPK added to my CP4. This way if it does fail the replacement cost should be much less. I also use the Archoil additive with every fill up. I would recommend at the very least the S&S DPK. Good luck. Re: Fifth Wheel Tag Renewal Wow!!! I feel blessed now. When I purchased of 5th wheel there was the usual sales tax (approx. 6%) and a one time license fee of $50 for a permanent license plate. Now we do pay a yearly personal property tax to the county but it isn't to terrible. Re: Need ideas for stabilizer jack pads. Sorry schlep1967, I haven't done anything yet. Both of our kids have returned home (44 and 42years old) for different medical reasons. Haven't had time to do much of anything besides running them and ourselves to Dr. appointments. Sometimes life is hard. Truck Bed camera I have a new to me 2016 F350 and a tri-fold tonno cover. I cannot see the hitch because of the center headrest on the rear seat. I don't really want to remove the headrest. So, I was wondering what kind of camera people are using to view the hitch when hooking up their fifth wheel? I bought a cheap one off of fleabay but not sure if it is going to work. Thanks all. Re: How important is 90 degree turning? You will be fine with your B&W hitch. With the trimmed corners on our fifth wheel, I haven't come close to hitting the cab. Can't say the same for my old truck and trailer. I dented both sides of the cab. (slow learner) LOL Re: Need ideas for stabilizer jack pads. Cummins12V98 wrote: cummins2014 wrote: 12V should be along shortly ,he has built some very nice ones . I too have built some from 2x6's ,and 2x4's stacked double , my son built the same only he went three high . They seemed to have held up well ,I have had mine for several years , I stained mine so they look pretty good . Thanks for the compliment! Built mine in 2016. I sanded them down and applied another three coats of oil based finish this Summer. They keep the rams shorter in extension causing the RV to be more stable. [IMG]https://i.imgur.com/vPG Very nice 12V. I remember you posting these a few years ago, along with how you built them. I thought I had saved the post but I can't find it now. I am getting older and am lucky to be able to find my underwear some mornings!!! LOL Need ideas for stabilizer jack pads.Looking for a winter project. Thought I might make some stabilizer jack pads. Any one have any good ideas? Thanks.Re: New to me tow vehicleMFL here is a picture of our new tow rig hooked to the fifth wheel.
