All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Rieco-Titan Electric Jacks Sticking and Not working well.I called Rieco-Titan last month about the same problem. They told me the leg portion of the jack is not repairable. From past experience, I always have an extra leg and motor (yes that is expensive). Replace the one with new leg and electric motor and then ordered just a new leg for the other problem jack. All is fine for the time being.Re: Chalet TS116 ExperianceI'm a current owner of a TS-116 (since new in 2012). Love the camper and I've towed a 22 foot boat behind it with no problems at all. My only problems with it has been the Rieco-Titan jacks. The jacks seem to not want to work at times. I've learned my lesson from previous campers to always have a spare leg and motor available (expensive I know) for when I need to dismount the camper. My only other problem (somewhat easy to fix) was the sink drain broke on the slide out. Don't expect any help from Chalet in Oregon.....I've tried, they only do A-frame pull behind camper trailers.Re: So, you are camping and you want to unload your truck camperI use Torklift Wobble Stoppers on my triple slide Chalet camper. When camper is dismounted from the truck, I attach the WS then lower the camper to the lowest position from the ground. Works good for me....not a lot of movement or sway.Re: Fridge fan quietingReplaced my outside noisy fan with two AeroCool Silent Master 2000mm (EN55642) that I found on Amazon at $21.17 each. I got the idea from Charles Coushaine on his YouTube channel. Easy install, no noise at all, and a lot more air flow.Re: Honda EU 2200i on Eco with AC??Last week I was in Utah at 4,200 feet elevation and 102 temp. I started my A/C (11,000 btu) with my EU2000i, but once the compressor started it only ran for a couple of minutes before the generator went into fault mode. I just recently ordered a Micro-Air EasyStart Soft Start for this unit. We'll see how this works out…if not, then i'll be paralleling my other companion eu2000i gen.Re: SOLAR ADVISE FOR A CHALET TS116Thanks everyone. Found the exact spot to drill hole in wall. I'm glad I used my iPhone scope before I made the hole...the sticker the manufacture put on the wall indicating where the solar wire are was way off.Re: SOLAR ADVISE FOR A CHALET TS116Found it....Just one holeRe: SOLAR ADVISE FOR A CHALET TS116Thanks for the help. I've contacted Chalet RV in Oregon...No help there.Chalet no longer makes this truck camper, just trailers. I'll just get the drill out and start making holes....hopefuly just one.Re: SOLAR ADVISE FOR A CHALET TS116JimK-NY. Thanks for the info. Before I planned on hooking up my panels, I just wanted to see if the wires to the roof were live. My plan is to put the Victron controller in battery compartment not inside the camper. I've used a video snake and checked where the wires go.....so now I guess I'll have to drill a hole in the wall close to where the original sticker said to put the solar controller. I can only get so far up the wall before I run into wall framing blocks.Re: SOLAR ADVISE FOR A CHALET TS116USA made and sold by AM Solar. I just figured the wires from the roof solar plug would be solid all the way down to the battery compartment waiting for the controller to be matched into the system. It looks as though I'm going to have to remove the roof solar plug and see if it is connected before I complete the install.
