Then follows with their pricing in today's market. It won't be exact because it just shows an average of units produced for your model year.Re: A/C locking up in 1984 class cHow are you powering the A/C? Generator? House Power? If you're using an extension cord for power you might be using one that's a little to small. Extra heat will build up and shut off the compressor, then trip fuses. Heavy duty cords are best. And good luck with this old gal.Re: AC doesn't keep up with heatB Y U, Have you thought about just getting a 12,000 btu portable A/C unit. They may not be as readily available in your area, but I picked one up on Craigslist for $150 about five years ago. Works great and gives the added boost of cool air when needed. I've loaned my to several people when their A/C quit and they were all grateful to have the little unit.Re: Elect. start generator.Get the Champion with the remote start feature. Run a dedicated quality extension cord near the electrical outlet that you currently use to plug in your O2 machine. When an outage hits, you just have to hit the remote start button, then unplug the O2 from the wall, and plug into your extension cord. You're good until the power returns. (Or, move to a state that has a better power grid).Re: What's up with Rocky Mt. National Park entry? FWC wrote: dodge guy wrote: Yep, they figured out a new way to make money from the NP’s we have already paid to use! And it’s not just RMNP either! To be clear, the parks are not making any money off this. The fee is $2 and it goes to the contractor that operates the reservation system. The park could pay the fee instead, but that would mean even less money for the parks themselves as the contractor still expects to be paid. Same deal for the folks that are upset about this being charged to annual and geezer pass holders. This is a fixed cost to the park per visitor, would you prefer they take it out of their operating and maintenance budget? According to the RMNP website the fee is $25.00. Maybe $2.00 goes to the contractor. 2015-2019 they averaged about 4.4 million visitors. 2020 was limited to 3.3 million guests. About 70% of the visits will be during the months the fee is collected. (Allow about four guests per vehicle and the fee will equal about $70 million this year). What's up with Rocky Mt. National Park entry?I have a trip to Western Colorado planned for the last week of June. I will be staying at Westcliffe for a few days with friends, then had planned to go to Dillon for a night, then to Estes Park by way of the Rocky Mt. National Park, with a night in Loveland. I just happened to check the website for the RMNP and noticed this new requirement for entry: Reservations required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park From May 28 through October 11, 2021, visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park will need a timed entry permit and an entrance pass to recreate in the park. Click "more" for details. This "Timed Entry Permit" costs $25. My Senior Pass gets me into the park, but I have to pay and have a reservation to get in. I guess I'm living in a bubble. My last trip to RMNP was 2004, just drove on Hwy 34 straight through the park. I don't usually travel much during the summer months, mostly local trips, so maybe I'll just wait and go out of season. Less traffic suits me better.Re: Harbor Freight - what happened to the 20% off couponsFunny thing...my morning email had a Harbor Freight ad; guess what it said? 10% off everything, no exceptions, and if you're an Inside Track Member ($30 yearly fee) you get 20% off, no exceptions. Good today thru Monday. I guess they read my post from last night and decided to send me a coupon!Re: Harbor Freight - what happened to the 20% off couponsI remember when J.C. Penney's always had coupons and special sales, BOGO, etc. Then a new CEO decided to do away with coupons, and you can see how that helped them. Near bankruptcy. I really think Harbor-Freight is going in the same direction. They are rebranding a lot of tools, and painted them in exciting colors, but they're the same tools; just cost more and you think you're getting a premium tool. I'll miss them!Re: CC&R dated 1973 says no RVs, trailers, boats can be storedOnce this neighbor finds out what a great neighbor you will be, she'll let it go. I would take photos of all the other neighborhood offenders. Park your motorhome next to your house. If she complains show her the photos and let her know you will gladly place the motorhome in storage when the other folks do likewise. Covenants only mean something if there is an enforceable body to take action. Take her some sticky buns when you move in and play nice. And enjoy your new home.
