From a Cadillac Allante, Mercedes SL500 and currently driving a 2011 Camaro. Last June we drove Pikes Peak, Mesa Verde, North Rim GC, Zion NP, and St. George Utah. It was a great trip. We're planning the Great River Road for next year. Yes, I know it's not camping or RV'ing, but it is fun.Re: External Fuel Tank for GeneratorIf you can't do this test yourself, find a mechanic who will locate the line from the gas tank to the generator. Disconnect line at the generator, then have him cut the line close to the gas tank. Use about 40 lbs. of air and blow through the line towards the generator, if stuff comes out then the line is clear. If it wasn't clogged in that section of line, then blow the line into the tank. Then use a union and hose clamps to join the two lines together. They should be clear, so hook up the line to the generator and give it a try.Re: Where are my spark plugs? Found them....It's really hard to tell from this one photo, but I don't see a distributor or carburetor. I'm thinking diesel?????Re: What should getting wheel bearings packed cost?Call a mobile mechanic who works on cars. If he can repack the front bearings on a truck or van, he can pack the bearings on your trailer. Order the seals online and have them waiting for him when he comes.Re: Oklahoma Is OK NJRVer wrote: What is the rivalry with OK and NB? I saw a bumper sticker on a car once that said something like: If NB was hell and I owned OK, I would rent out OK and live in hell. Or something like that. Anybody down that way must know what I am referring to. When Nebraska and Oklahoma were both in the Big 8, then Big 12 conference they had a great football rivalry. I sure miss those days, some great football was played between Tom Osborne and Barry Switzer teams.Re: Drawing water from a lakePump from the lake through a filter into a 55 gallon plastic drum. Treat the water in the drum just like you would treat swimming pool water, clorine tabs in a floating dispenser. Then pump into your tanks. Too many naysayers and not enough problem solvers. There is always a way, just keep looking.
