I had the trailer brakes setup pretty high, but the truck would still overheat the brakes with minimal usage on longer hills. The Ford is night and day over the Chevy in both power and braking. I didn't even let my family ride with me on the last weekend trip we took with the Chevy. I made my wife drive the kids in the Escalade. We had a few passes to go over, so I wanted to play it safe.
