hot diesel fuel
I got codes on my Duramax Diesel on my last trip and when I took it to the Chevy dealer they said my fuel overheated to 260 degrees . I have never heard of this . My truck got up to 235 on the engine temp. It was 98 at 7:30 at night and climbing Baker grade going to Las Vegas. The year before I climbed a bigger hill and it was even hotter outside and didn't have any problems . I have a 2005 duramax and have had a little overheating problem . I think I read in the Trailer life magazine that there was a guy who put a different radiator hose on his truck and it took care of the problem. I believe he had a hose with a 90 degree elbow and put one with two 45's witch he said that it cut down the restriction with the 90 and the water flowed better . I have been looking for the info so I can show it to my mechanic and see what he has to say about it. 12 volt compressors
Do you know of any good 12 volt Compressors . I have looked at some but they come up short. I have a 2500 Chevy and a 30 ft Sunnybrook 5th wheel with 16 inch tires. I put up to 80 lbs in the tires and am looking for a 12 volt unit. It is not easy sometimes to find a place where you can add air to your tire pulling a 5th wheel.9.3KViews0likes32Comments
