I am simply asking why a $50k truck can barely handle the tongue weight of a average bunk house trailer. This was a regular looking Ram body with those bed rail work boxes and a tonneau cover. No big off road lights or push bars. I wish to God I had taken a photo of the sticker for proof. And the grocery remark is called a “sense of humor”. Look into it. This place used to be helpfullWent to the car show...Ram Power wagonWent to the car show for fun today. Saw a 2018 2500 Ram Power Wagon 6.4L Hemi crew cab. Payload capacity was only 1047 pounds. Yes...I’m sure. What’s that truck bed for? Better weigh those groceries before you load them up. Power? I don’t think so. My 2007 Exped is nearly 1600 pounds. At least the Ford Super-Dooooody was over 2000 and was just as loaded up with options. A 2500 Denali was over 1900. I’m not raggin’ on Ram cause I like them but dang...a trucks number one job is to haul things.Re: Coleman NXT-200 grill issue to be aware of...I tried to answer earlier but for some reason it didn't post. I'm the OP and what opnspaces said was right. Once the pin was a little longer, the plunger allowed the gas to flow. Been working fine ever since.Re: AC vibrating the whole camper!Well you guys were EXACTLY right!!! Dirt dobbers on the front of the fan spinner. Only a small nest but off center enough to cause major vibrations. The blades were clean. Also had 2 wasp nests under the shroud. Overall way to fix. Thanks everyone!!!Re: AC vibrating the whole camper!Thank you all so much! I'll venture onto the roof and take a look. Hope it's that simple!AC vibrating the whole camper!Turned on my AC unit for the first time since last year and it sounds like it's beating the trailer to death! It ran great last year but something is not right now. Looking at the inside access I don't see anything weird. Squirrel cage spins nice and smooth but I don't know enough about the outside part to do anything but would like to know what might be wrong if you guys have had a similar experience. It does cool and blow air strongly. If I switch to high fan it sounds like it's going to take off and fly away. All I know is that it's a 2004 Rockwood trailer we bought used 5 yrs ago and the thermostat is a Dometic Duo-therm. Thank youRe: Adding shelves, organizersI have an older camper and used 3M command strips. It tore the wallpaper off...I didn't remove it, it just tore the paper and the item fell. Won't be using them anymore.Re: Cheap maintainer destroyed my batteryBattery about 3 yrs old. I installed the disc switch when I replaced the battery. It is a deep cycle battery. Never been dead. Read 12.0 volts when I took off the treater. Did not check it this morning.Re: Cheap maintainer destroyed my batterySorry don't know the onboard systems brand. Not where I can check it right now. I figure the battery is toasted. Thanks.Cheap maintainer destroyed my batteryPut a HF "Automatic" charger on my TT battery. After 3 months it has destroyed my battery. All the water boiled out due the charger putting out 20v. Is there any way to save it? Should I have just left it on the TT and let the house panel charge it? I am soooo frustrated!
