The company I had who did the fixing put a switch next to the main battery under the hood. I made sure I turned the house battery off. Worked.Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Hi Folks. Sold my Roadtrek 190 V. The sleeping accommodations were not working out. Looking for a Roadtrek Popular, about the year 2000 or older, milage 100,000 or less, in good condition for $10,000 or less. Will be adjustible. HeapieRe: One of the added costs of owning our BAnother added cost. Where are you going to store the RV? I found out the hard way. Had to move so my wife could live on one floor. Parked my RV in front of the house. Against the rules to park an RV anywhere in the development except if it would fit in the garage. To long and to high.Being a class B made no difference, but ok to park a pickup truck on your driveway. No public transportation so you have to have a second car to go to a paid lot at $80.00 a month. Closest is three miles. Sold the rv, wrong layout. Looking for a used class B, prefer a Roadtrek 190 Popular for less than $10,000.00. Almost had one. Will take time.Re: One of the added costs of owning our BHi Folks, When we had an Inn on Nantucket, we kept a Ford Explorer on the main land parked on dirt at the Hi line lot. Rusted the bottom out. Whatever, always store an RV on concrete or blacktop. Heapie.Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Hi folks, Sold our Roadtrek 190V and looking for a used Roadtrek 190P. The Versitile had sleeping problems for two senior citizens. The Popular should work with two 30 inch wide beds that some one can get up in the middle of the night without waking the other. Looking for a used Roadtrek 190P, 1990s vintage, good shape, milage under 100,000 for around $10,000.00. Must be in the New England Area so I could check it out before I buy. HEAPIERe: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Hi Folks, Another lesson learned. A buyer answered my ad in Roadtrek International. After some negotiation over price, my wife and I drove from Cape Cod to Connecticut to meet with the potential buyer. We pretty much agreed to price and I went back to the Cape and had Majors RV fix anything that might not be right. The only thing I knew about was the windshield washer did not work. Everything else fixed, we were trying to set up a time to do rhe delivery. His finance people called and we sent pictures of the title. Then I ended up in the hospital on tuesday night on a bleeding issue. Thursday morning my wife came into the hospital and informed me that when the buyer heard about it, he got cold feet and walked. (He is 82 years old and I am 78). Now I am trying to address the real issue that Sheila and I have. Because of age and disability issues, only one person can sleep on the bed. (It ain't going to be me.) Our RV is a Roadtrek 190 Versitile. The idea of fitting the drivers seat and the seat behind the drivers seat to form a cot just does not work. Putting it on the other side blocks the emergency exit. There are three solutions, two which need somebody else to show interest. Trade for a Roadtrek 190 Popular, sell ours, or figure out a way for me to sleep comfortably without adding more **** to the RV. Life is interesting. I got out of the hospital on Friday, a little weak but put back together. HeapieRe: How do you get used to such a small bed?Hi Folks, This sleeping problem is a problem with my wife and me. We started sleeping in a crosswise double bed and I would have to step over my wife in the middle of the night. It didn't work. I then went to the small cot by putting the back seat and the front seat together (we have a Roadtrek 190 Versitile.). Uncomfortable with my feet hanging over. I tried a L. L. Bean air mattress. One night I slipped off it breaking the seat belt. I am now trying to come up with a more sturdy arrangement without cluttering up the RV. What we need is a 190 Popular. HeapieRe: Is Class B the easiest to use?Hi. A class B is your best answer. Roadtrek makes a Versitile model in both a 20 foot and an 18 foot. (20 foots are no longer being made) called 170 and 190V. The 190 has two back seats so can ride four people in comfort. The HOA problem is one you have to address before buying a moble home. I ran into the HOA problem and trying to work something out. My reason for moving into was my wife's problems. Some moble home parks have an area to store RVs. If you can buy a home near the storage area, it will work. Do your homework and get it in writing. Good luck. Heapie
