We have the newer folding steps with the adjustable legs. Given the height difference when we release the adjustable legs they actually fell out. So slid them in till they clicked and put some blocks. Worked ok. Come to leave and have a hard time sliding them all the way into the unit. Is there a trick for getting them to work again? We hold the release but it binds very quickly. Since they folded up we left them and headed home. Now need to get them working. Any thoughts?Re: Low Shore VoltageThanks everyone! Had never seen this condition before but we knew it was not right. The autoformer sounds interesting, but given that this is the first time we experienced the low voltage, will probably hold off on purchasing. It was a hot weekend so with all the A/C's going I did not think it would get better at our site. We checked one of the sites below us and it was 115 volts. Guess it was just bad luck. The campground did give us our money back as there were no other open sites, but then charged us $5 for cancelling. I just wanted to leave to get to the other CG.Low Shore VoltageLast week we ran into an issue where the campground shore power for our site was only coming in at 104 volts(30 amps). We have a Progressive surge protector and it would not let the power flow. Reported it as a Low Voltage. The campground was full so we ended going somewhere else at a lot more money but we enjoyed the weekend. The campground staff was like it ran for the other folks fine. Indicating we would be OK to run without the surge protection. I was always under the impression that low power was just as bad as too much and not wanting to take a risk with the A/C and other components. The Progressive protector being our guide. So, were we right to leave to avoid this power issue?Toilet continues to runWe have a Thetford Aqua-Magic Style 2 toilet. Two trips ago we had issues with the toilet water filler not cutting off quickly. We would get extra water in the bowl. Not a big problem but don't want it to not stop and continue until it overflows. I was thinking we had high water pressure and that was the cause of the valve not shutting off quickly. On the last trip it did it again though not as bad. I pulled out the manual we received with the camper but it is a little thin on troubleshooting and did not cover our issue. Anyone have the same experience? The manual did list a water valve (part #8). Wondering how hard this would be to repair and what a valve would cost. ThanksSpider Mites are AttackingWent to pick up the trailer yesterday and noticed it had a bunch of the little red spider mites on the outside. For the summer, we are parking in a paved lot that is much closer to home and easier to access. Everything looked good until now. I looked at another trailer and it also had the mites. I guess the parking lot is home base. I brought the trailer home and washed it down. I previously had a issue with ants climbing up the power cord and into the trailer. I would spray the cord with ant spray and the problem was solved. I am thinking I could spray the tires and hitch jack to keep them off when I return the trailer to the lot. Any spider mite spray recommendations? Thanks
