I glad you didn't put something in your post that got political and tried to give us in the USA advice.Re: Super Glide Dimensions Ram 3500Looks just like my setup as it should and the numbers are what I came up with also. I ended up lifting my pin box 2" and like you put on the short feet. My rig now rides about 1" high, but all the clearances look good so I am sticking with it. Your are going to like the Pullrite.Re: Closing a PullriteI like to close mine because I do not like springs under tension. I have a piece of rigid conduit long enough to close it from the tailgate. I guess either way it works but it is just my preference.Re: Recommendations for New 5th WheelLook at the Lifestyle floor plans. They have most of the features on your list. the 36FW is a good floor plan. Many pull them with SRW 1 tons.Re: What do you use for a refrigerator Thermometer ?I have a thermometer that was formerly one that was stuck on the outside of a window on our old coach. I is a digital thermometer that you can see through and it is only about an eighth inch thick. I also has a 24 hour memory. It is thin enough to slip in to the top door shelf. I like it because I not only get the current temp, but I can see the high and low for the day. I have found that the little fridge does a good job of holding temp! JohnRe: How many miles for a used diesel truck?Just remember. The engines and transmissions in most truck now will run many many miles, but the power steering, AC compressors, alternators, water pumps, seats(wear through) etc. are the same as they are on ALL trucks and most of that stuff will fail eventually and probably before the engine. That stuff can get expensive too.Re: tonnaeu Ramblin Recks wrote: Our Retrax Pro is great. Easy to open, locks in any position, and weather proof. Very satisfied. x2Re: Big Guy, Small BathroomI never use the throne in the RV for the "big job". I guess you could call my "black tank" a "yellow tank". :-) It's also easier and cheaper than a remodel.Re: 50amp Surge Guard Needed or Not Old-Biscuit wrote: Power Protection.... More expensive, will check for power, trip on 'surge' and also check reverse polarity, open neutral, open ground, high & low voltage trips, timed delay for A/C compressor, AC Frequency The Trademarked SurgeGuard does these things. I wired one in before I EVER took it to a campground. And it has already taken care of me so it owes me nothing.Re: Diesel prices finally falling !!A week ago here in the twin cities it was 3.69. On Tuesday it was 3.99. On Friday it was 4.29!!!!!! It dropped back to 3.99 yesterday, but what the heck is happening?
