If its under warranty ignore above and drop off. Either way, no big deal and is a quick fix.Re: landing gear dual motors cutty72 wrote: ssduane wrote: cutty72 wrote: Is there a big advantage to having a motor on each leg? Mine has gone up and down fine with just the one motor. I don't have to carry blocks to level, since each is independantly wired, which makes side to side leveling much easier. I don't every listen to my landing gear strain like they used to either. Actually yes, when I bought it while waiting for the PO to get the batteries, I cranked it up (and down) to hook it up. Not that hard, just a slow process. Ok? glad you got to experience that.:?Re: landing gear dual motors cutty72 wrote: Is there a big advantage to having a motor on each leg? Better to run it off gas. I had a yami 1000 and it weighted in at 25lbs, held .6 gallons of gas and would run about 12 hours and charge my batteries, and is plenty of juice to power most newer tvs, LED/LCD. Also was great to start up on cold nights when furnace was off and on, my batteries would be chagred in the a.m.Re: Hauler for couple coloelk wrote: My wife and I had the same needs so I designed and built this. I've got a few hundred miles on it now with some of those on gravel/washboard roads and it works great. Not for everyone, but if your interested send me a PM and I can give you a few details. My weights on the truck and trailer came out great by the way. Mod Edit: Adjusted photo to comply with the 640 pixel guidelines. When posting pictures in the future please use the Yellow Image icon in the tool bar, paste your photos URL link in the appropriate box and type in 640 in the width box (leave height blank). Thanks I like that set up. Was thinking a big tongue tow trailer and just put the quad in the bed of the truck, but that over quad rig and big ol 5ver is nice.Re: First trip and need new tiresforget them and find some decent LT tires as repalcements, they don't even have to be namebrand LT's, just steer away from ST tires.Re: Help, fresh water won't fill all the wayI use a piece of hose ( 3 foot white fill hose with female end still on) that I attach to my garden hose that is small in diameter then the fill connection and that got rid of my problem, turns out I was putting in more water then my vent would vent. Have you tried filling it slowly. My vent is a 1/4" fitting with same size hose on it and was using a 5/8 garden hose that sealed off (almost) when shoved in the fill, so using a hose that was smaller allowed air to vent out at the same time.
