We got a 2014 Forest River Sunseeker 2650CDW. The motorhome was terrific. The service was a nightmare. The salesman was very disorganized and at one point tried to sell us a unit that he had already sold to someone else. The business office lady stopped returning my phone calls because she had a Botox emergency for a week. And, I am not 100% sure that the full sales team was not drunk when we went to pick it up at 11 am. With all of that on the table, we paid less than 40% of new for a 3-year-old rig. I got to review all of the service history. We have used it for 15 weekends plus our two-week vacation with not an issue. I initially went to this motorhome because I wanted a four-season motorhome. The salesman told me it was good to -30c and after camping in it to -15c I think the motorhome could but I really don't want to get much colder. Re: Class C Campsite Photos. Show your stuff.Mclaine Creek Provincial Park in March of 2016. It was -15c and an excellent weekend. Re: What is Your Favorite RV GPS??Thanks for the input everyone! I have been doing allot of rereading and am leaning towards the RV760. I really like that it can accommodate a backup camera. This brings up the second question. I don't want to upset the forum police, but I was wondering how many people with the RV760 use the wireless backup camera? How many use a wired camera? And, what you like or dislike about the camera and GPS in the same display? With the van dash, I am limited in space, so I think that an all in one would be great, but then I also think I may want to have the camera and GPS showing at the same time. Especially if I eventually get a dingy tow car. What is Your Favorite RV GPS??So with Christmass coming around the corner the wife has asked what I want. Naturally, I want a GPS for the rig. We have a 30 foot Class-C, and I kinda want an RV specific GPS and was wondering what your recommendations, likes, dislikes are in this category? How Much Car Should I Dingy TowI have a 1024 Forest River Sunseeker 2650 with the E450 chassis and a V10. The question I have is how much car should I dingy tow? It appears to have a tow rating of 5,000lbs but would I hate my life if I maxed that out? I am getting 25L/100km (I am Canadian) so about 9.5mpg. How much will towing a dinghy car effect that? Ideally, I want to pull a Jeep Wrangler, and they weigh about 4,000lbs. Do you think this would be too much and I should look at a smaller car? I live in Alberta and camp in the Rocky Mountains, so I do end up on some long hills. any advice would be appreciated.Re: De-winterizing timingWe have had our motor home out a few times this winter and always re-winterize when we get back....... it costs me about $10 in antifreeze and takes 5 minutes. Or am I missing something in the winterizing thing? All I ever do is drain the tanks and run antifreeze through the water lines? Is this what everyone else is doing?
