Lance 881 basement ?
Has anyone taken the bottom panel ( rear ) off in order to run wires from the generator to the opposite side to new batterys install? We're thinking of adding new batterys on the drivers side to increase the AH available during cold weather.

If I'm not wrong the 811 AF & the Lance 881 are close to the same weight , empty . Ours loaded with us an ready on a trip comes in at 12220 # an we're hauling a16' cargo trailer...... but we have a Chevy if that makes a difference. Happy traveling

Type of sewer pipe on a Lance?
I'm going to mod my camper sewer drain so when the TC is off the truck it will be easier to connect up the stinky slinky! The pipe is black!

FYI, We have a Lance 881 (2005) the camper door latch was locked outside by wife an the key wasn't rotated back to it proper location thus locking the latch. The reason I posted this was because if anyone else is locked in an tries to open by twisting the red plastic lever they will break the plastic lever an have to purchase a new entire door latch as they don't sell the plastics lever!

Problem solved ! Used the hatch , brought the key back to it 's proper position . Latch works fine. The reason for posting is if I had forced the lock It would have split the plastic arm thus a new lock and $$$$ ! Thanks for the comeback ! Happy traveling

HELP
You aren't going to believe this but I'm locked inside my camper ! Apparently when my wife left to pickup our grandson , she locked the camper door but didn't return the key to it's proper position. I've removed the inside plate but no joy . Anyone have a suggestions ? I can get out the escape hatch .....but is there another way ?
