Re: Moving forward with flooring replacementWell you sure picked some skilled workers.Re: Moving forward with flooring replacementLooks fabulous! I love the look of the tile on a diagonal. This can't be the first time you have laid tile.Re: Moving forward with flooring replacementWe drive a Prevost and nearly all of them have granite or marble flooring as you likely know. The prep is everything and it sounds like you have that just right as well. Tile is certainly heavier than carpet, I just saw mostly carpet in the pictures you posted. Keep us up to date. I know you will love the results and your workmanship looks to be top notch!Re: Moving forward with flooring replacementCurious how the 1595 pounds of flooring only adds 145 pounds. It doesn't seem like there would have been 1400 pounds of carpeting. It should be beautiful, though.Re: Running Dedicated Water Line For RV at Home?If it's only a couple times per year, is it really worth the effort? A hose run from a splitter a couple of time per year still sounds like the best and easiest solution.Re: Installing an oven into a former rental rv Grit dog wrote: wapiticountry wrote: Cruise America rigs all have 120 volt 30 Amp electrical service. Electric ovens are generally 240 volt, so you would either have to completely upgrade the RVs electrical service or find a propane wall oven that would fit. Even that would require upgrading the propane plumbing. Bottom line is adding a true oven is going to be expensive and likely difficult. Who said electric? 240V oven would be useless as teats on a boar in a RV Not really, the induction cook top and the dryer in my RV are both 240V.Re: Generator bogging when A/C is turned onWith a 4500W generator you are going to have around 35 amps available for the coach. The A/C should only be drawing around 12-14 amps except at startup and that only lasts a few seconds. I would go with the first step of shutting off all 120V breakers and seeing what happens when you turn only the A/C breaker on. Let us know what you find.Re: Installing an oven into a former rental rvWe cook inside almost exclusively. Still, I would never own an RV with an over, it's just not necessary in most cases. Our convection/microwave does all the cooking we need. However, it is only the 2 of us. If more come along on your travels, an oven might make sense.
