Main slide would not come out unless I really put my shoulder into it. after the first 6 or 8" it would then move fine. Comes back in fine. Checked the mechanism and there is no binding. Lubes it up but still no difference. it is a power gear slide out and I went to the website and followed their troubleshooting. Still no Luck. Any Ideas?Re: Well, that went as expectedAlso look up "the Z method of backing a fifth wheel". Its a pretty good explanation of backing into a slot. And as an added bonus it connects you to lots of pro videos on youtubeRe: You gotta' see this!Actually there are "K" cars in japan that have a restricted engine size and they have converted some of them into "caravans" as they call them. Look up Japanese K cars and there are youtube videos of the campers. Not something for an extended trip .Re: A vs. CWe have owned a class A, class C and currently have a fw. The next one will be the Class C. Nothing can beat the versatility of a fifth wheel BUT the C is much easier to travel in. As far as driving for me it is a wash between an A and C but my DW and copilot much prefers a to drive a C. I thought the C had more storage that the A and I prefer the shade over the window:)Re: Think I will keep mine a little longer2000 jayco designer.Got it used in 2004. This vacation the both topper awnings springs went. and the fabric needs replaced anyway. The main awning spring is getting balky. And the roof has (had, thank God for spray cans of liquid rubber) 3 leaks. So figure 2500 for repairs. ONCE. no years worth of payments. So as long as I am able, I will keep mine Too!Re: What is this wire? Also the standard wire colors for DC circuits is blackis positive and white is negative or ground
