Moved my 2000 Jayco up in the driveway. Plugged in house power. Main slide would not come out unless I really put my shoulder into it. after the first 6 or 8" it would then move fine. Comes back in fine. Checked the mechanism and there is no binding....
Also look up "the Z method of backing a fifth wheel". Its a pretty good explanation of backing into a slot. And as an added bonus it connects you to lots of pro videos on youtube
Actually there are "K" cars in japan that have a restricted engine size and they have converted some of them into "caravans" as they call them. Look up Japanese K cars and there are youtube videos of the campers. Not something for an extended trip .
