One spark and it's done, there should be several attempts to lite.Norcold 821 ignitor issueI have a Norcold 821. The entire time I have had the camper the ignitor for the fridge would spark multiple times before going the fault code. This year the ignitor is only striking once before the fault code comes on. Generally, the fridge will not lite with one ignitor spark. Any ideas why the ignitor is only sparking once? ThanksRe: Yellowstone in October? Thanks for the heads up on the weather. The temps do not bother us and we camp often in the winter. We'll check and make sure it does not look like a bunch of snow is going to come in before we leave.Re: Yellowstone in October? Thanks for the replies.Yellowstone in October? We are planning on going to Yellowstone the second week of October. We have a Nash 25r (27ft overall). As far as I can tell there are only 3 campgrounds open this late, Lewis Lake, Mammoth and Madison. Ideally, we would like to spend a few days at Lewis Lake on the south side of the park and then a few days on the north side at either Madison or Mammoth. Looking at the forest service website it says that Lewis Lake is 25ft overall, including truck and camper. Is this correct, has anyone one here stayed at Lewis Lake? Would a 27ft camper fit? We tried to call but in typical federal gov fashion we could not find a live person to ask. If Lewis Lake is not an option we would probably spend the majority of the trip at Madison. Is this a decent location to see most of the park from without driving several hours each day? ThanksRe: Trip Report from the San Rafael Swell Searching_Ut wrote: While having grown up in 11 states, I spent two years as a elementary aged kid in Southern Utah. On a couple of occasions we went and watched them fire those missiles from the green river complex to white sands. They would have a canopy setup for spectators with refreshments. Of course back then there were virtually no people in the area to come and watch. It wasn't crowded like it is now. You can still see one of the old missles that is stuck in the sand near an ATV track northwest of Monticello. Lot's of history in the area if you get out and explore. For your next adventure you'll have to find the site where they did some of the data gathering and blew up explosives above a tunnel gathering information needed prior to building the Cheyenne mountain complex. That's really cool! So can you tell me more about where the missile is near Monticello? I'm assuming your talking about the MK tunnels on the north side of Buckhorn Wash.....we go to the Swell several times a year and love Utah.Re: Trip Report from the San Rafael SwellWe posted the final installment from this trip were we explore the cold war missile launch complex, The Green River Station, that test fired missiles from Utah that landed in the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. There was some amazing pieces of history..... See all the pictures and read the full report HERE or at offthepathadventures.com Thanks!Re: Trip Report from the San Rafael SwellFor those interested the posting for the Giles Ghost town is up at HEREat offthepathadventures.com Info on the ghost town and the picture gallery can be found there. We will do a separate article on the launch complex and Giles Ghost town in the next week or two going into the history of both. Keeping checking offthepathadventures.com for updates. BenTrip Report from the San Rafael SwellA few weeks ago kicked off our family's first trip of the season at the San Rafael Swell in Utah. It was a great, but windy, week with lots of exploring where we visited the "Little Grand Canyon" aka the Wedge, amazing pictographs, old narrow gauge railroad ruins, a Mormon ghost town and a cold war era missile launch complex. The full trip report and photo galley is FOUND HERE from our family adventure blog offthepathadventures.com Here are some of the pictures from the week....
