I can move it around depending on the wind direction. You can drill holes in the top and bottom along the ends and tie multiple panels together and when no longer needed they can be stored out of the way. The heat really reflects off them and helps warm your backside :)Re: AGM Troubles Update BFL13 wrote: With AGMs the equivalent to equalizing is "reconditioning" at around 15.5 volts. Supposedly seldom needed unless you have been doing 50-90s or undercharging instead of getting to true full, as happens a lot with solar when it gets dark too soon. Trojan's guide says never equalize AGMs, but Lifeline's does. Be worth checking others to see what they say. Do AGM batteries need to be equalized? Please keep in mind that not all AGM batteries are built equally. Our batteries are hand built and have large inter-cell connections, allowing them to be equalized. ... Batteries are pretty simple. You put energy into them, they store it, and then they give you energy when you need it.Dec 19, 2018 lifelinebatteries.com › 2015/10 › can-i-equalize-agm-batteriesRe: Bringing extra fresh water.I just carry empty tubs that have lids. They stack inside each other and don't take up as much room as a regular water barrel. I put inside them large trash bags and after filling with water I tie a knot in the top so water doesn't splash out. I have a spare 12 volt water pump that I use to transfer the water into my fresh water tank. The spare tubs can be used for other purposes while camping. Also have a 30 gal water bladder but have not used it yet. I use bottle water for drinking and cooking while camping.Re: 6 volt batterysOr you could hook up 3ea for an 18 volt battery bank then have a step down dc - dc converter. since cost of t105's are not that expensive and if you have the space just get another battery to make 4 if you have the space.Re: Do you take a boat with you?SE9 Yep, carry my inflatable boat in a bag. have a trolling motor for it also.Re: Camping in Arkansas?Might look hereRe: Golf Cart or A G M 12 volt BatteriesYour question actually has 2 discussions: 1) 12 volt versus 6 volt 2) Wet cell versus AGM For pure cost wet cell 6 volt batteries are hard to beat. Personally, I chose to go 6 volt and AGM. 6 volt for all the their advantages and AGM because I don't want to spend the time maintaining batteries. Wet cell batteries need water and keeping corrosion at bay. Batteries can be killed if these 2 things are not done religiously. AGM is more expensive but for the ease of life I have been happy.Re: Austin Texas to Fayetteville ArkansasYou could take the pigtrail. Not the most glamorous this time of year with all the leaves gone but motorcycles like it for the crooked road :)Re: 1 ton Dually Pickup Owners QuestionIf your friend is hauling livestock for as a business then there are more regulations plus hauling livestock across state lines can bring on problems if you don't have the proper documentation. Just as newman fulltime mentioned; there is a lot in play that may be not known :)Re: Bears ear and Grand staircase are losing ground pigman1 wrote: 64.9% of the state of Utah is Federal land. A bit much don't you think? How much Utah is Public Land? Yep, I agree. Both monuments were expanded by Obama and Clinton under the antiquities act, which was not intended for this purpose. Good to see the over_reach is being resolved. Here is a quick version of the antiquities act - President Theodore Roosevelt signed the Antiquities Act in 1906 largely to prevent looting of archaeological and Native American structures and objects. The purpose was to give the federal government an expeditious path to protect archeological sites. archeological sites are not millions of acres
