All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Cellular Page PlusHi, I have been using the 29.95 plan with page plus for a couple of years. Anywhere Verizon works, this plan will work well. Look at the verizon coverage map and see if it will work for your area of Florida. There are no extra charges or taxes. I actually pay LESS than 29.95 per month because I buy the pageplus refills online at callingmart and I use a discount code. This month I can purchase at 5% off. I recommend pageplus wholeheartedly. I have all three kids on it and it is very easy. Think of it as generic Verizon. You can pick a different plan every month if you need to. You can also add a small cash balance to your account if you think you are going to run out of data. You can buy a new phone off ebay anytime you like and use it on the plan. It is supereasy to program a phone, takes about five minutes. The only catch is that you need to use a 3G phone. If you are going to use a 4G phone you have to get the phone "flashed" over to pageplus, and this is something most people will pay for. PM me if you have any questions!Re: Shadow Cruiser S280QBS Axle/Tire/Propane/slide out issuesYou can search posts under my username to see all the problems with our Shadow Cruiser in the last year. I am happy to say the Axles seem ok so far (thanks Lippert and Cruiser) and the slide out problem (also Lippert) seems to be resolved. (knock on wood). I guess I can attribute the underrated axles to Cruiser, but I cant really blame them for the slide out malfunctioning, since the whole mechanism was made by Lippert. Now that our 280 has been repaired, I think I would be very nervous about purchasing any new TT. We havent had any more problems but it still was a royal pain losing a whole autumn and late summer of camping last year.Re: Ford Expedition 2012 EL Limited 31 foot TrailerLinchat, no we have the regular length. Shorter wheelbase but more tow capacity. We did get the 3.73 axle ratio to assist with towing. Wow, you are towing a 35 foot trailer with an expedition??Re: Ford Expedition 2012 EL Limited 31 foot TrailerWe have a ford expedition and we tow this lightweight model. We had some problems with it initially (bought it new), but just want to show you that there are lighter bunkhouses out there. I would not tow anything bigger than this with my expedition! (this is 5085 lbs dry and 7530 gvwr) http://cruiserrv.com/shadow-cruiser/s_280qbs/specifications.htmlRe: Anyone familiar with the SPREE 240BH (triple bunks)? We have two sets of double bunks and three kids 10,13,16. Problem is, because of a headspace thing (think hitting your head on the ceiling when you sit up in bed). NONE of my kids really want to sleep on the top bunks. My daughter prefers to sleep on the sofa, which is short for her, but more comfortable overall. I just want to make sure your kids really would sleep in bunks as they continue to grow.Re: Need new tires ALREADY!Sorry InTheDogHouse, and welcome to the club. I am glad your camping season was not interrupted.Re: Need new tires ALREADY!It seems like there are 2011 and 2012 models with this problem. When we bought our 2013 I guess I kinds assumed they would have fixed it, but they haven't. It is exactly the same! Hopefully the poor warranty guy at Cruiser will be tired of fixing this problem!Re: Need new tires ALREADY!C3Saving, I will bet you a case of beer, or whatever, that given another 1000 miles, your tires will fall apart just like mine! My is still in the shop, but it appears the light at the end of the tunnel in getting it fixed. I hope! Try to put some more miles on this so you can get it fixed in the off season! Ill post some pictures of my tires at about 2000 miles: heres one of our tires: Here's another! Re: Need new tires ALREADY!KD, I have read many of those posts. Almost made me wish I could have boughts your "better than new!" 280. You weren't kidding! Whose warranty provided the tires (cruiser?) and whose warranty provided the axles (Lippert)?Re: Need new tires ALREADY!hi Carrie, Will post as soon as I get some resolution. Trying to stay calm. Just keep checking your tires for bald patches. Don't drive too far from home, lol. Panama, can you tell me exactly which tires you got. Model/make. How much did Cruiser authorize for tire replacement>? Did you pay extra to upgrade? Exactly how did you convince them it was an axle issue? Were the axles visibly bent?
