These are not your home W/D's so do not even try to compare them. They do small loads and long drying time but what is the hurry. We have had the Splendide for 11 years in two 5th wheels with not a single problem. It is not like you are beating the laundry with rocks down at the river bank. Insert laundry, detergent, spin a dial, push a button and go about your business till they are done. We do 2 or three small loads a week load is running now. Personal preference but makes life on the road easier.Re: Dual pane windows.....add weight? Reduced CCC?We are long timers and stay in moderate temps year round look up the specs on your dual pane windows and do the math. Insulation is almost nil take a IR thermometer and shoot the outside the window temp then the inside. There is a slight noise reduction. Specifications do not lie. Do some homework on RV dual pane windows before you purchase.Re: pilot/flying J/loves etc...what lanes do you use?We use what ever lane (Diesel) is handy. We try to use the RV lane at FJ but rude Rv'ers that fuel then go inside to shop are becoming more common. With the RV plus card we have no problems at the truck pumps or any problems with the truckers. We do stick to truck stops because we are 56 feet long truck and 5th wheel. I do not recall the truck stops being 35 to 60 cents more ever. We like easy in, easy out and a place to park for awhile for lunch or a leg stretch. There is also a good turnover of diesel fuel at truck stops so less of a chance of bad fuel. We prefer the pre merger FJ because of Rv lanes and ease of credit card use but more and more pilot's are changing over. We use all the truck stops and rarely have a issue.Re: Can we talk need for a golf cart?We have one in Florida and we leave it there for the summer. It is a large RV park and we can get to some stores and restaurants with the cart.Re: WVa flooding got my THWe have never met except for back and forth on this forum for a few years . You may or may not have problems with both of the brands. Purchase the floor plan and price range that suits you.Re: Extended warranty on a 2009 5er?First of all what warranty covers wear items. Second I would not leave the dr iveway without a good extended warranty (service plan) Remember the are NOT extended Warranties they are extended service plans that cover a agreed upon set of items. Read the contract.Re: Opinions on Montana 333DB 5er qualityWe have had two Montana's 06 3400 and a 2013 3402. Many , Many many miles on the 2006 and & 8K on the 2013.several problems large and small on the 06 3400 and several problems large and small on the 2013. Warranty by Keystone was great as was our Extended warranties. We use then hard put many miles on them and although not full time live in them 7/9 months of the year/.IMO they are no better no worse than any other brand in the price range.Re: Towing a 13,500 dry weight 5er?1500 lbs on board easy not including anything in the holding tanks. The salesperson is wacked out.Re: Awning ReplacementThere are several quality levels in awning fabric you can buy cheap and cheap is what you will get .Look at the manufacturers tag on the OEM awning then call them with the part number and get a idea of what it will cost.
