If you need to go see an rv shop, there is one nearby in Lakeside called Webb.

Making that trip myself this December, says coach. Don't USUALLY have any issues that time of year, however there is always a chance. Interstate travel is normally good. Best thing I can say is if it is really cold, don't drive past 10pm or before 7am.
