The sales part was ok, the delivery and trying to get a modification done was a headache, but like I said Jayco stepped to the plate and took care of better then I would have expected. So my bottom line is I would buy online again to save 20k! Good luck on your search!Re: Firs time in the RV with hookupsDo you have a black water flush on your trailer, If so then this changes how to dump the tank, I have always had Black water flushes, right before I start to dump the BW tank, I hook up the BW flush and start the water, then open the tank, once the waste water is a slow flow I close the tank and let is fill 2/3 with water, then I open the valve again, I do this again if the water coming out seems to still have stuff in it. Once that stuff is cleared out, I close the tank, add a couple gallons of water into the Black tank, add my chems, and I am ready to go.Re: Jayco class A experiencesWe purchased a Jayco Precept 35UN and couldn't be happier with it. We had a leak on the main slide room which Jayco Fixed at the Jayco service center, There were about 7 or 8 other minor issues that Jayco took care of also, The only thing we didn't like about the 2015 35UN was the accordion door to the bedroom, Jayco modified our coach to fit the solid sliding door from the 2016 model. I didn't pay a penny for any of this, including the trip to and from IN from NJ, or the door. Their customer service to me has been nothing but outstanding, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Jayco product. All manufactures have their issues and that is what you usually hear on these forums, those of us who are happy with our Jayco's generally do not say so. Good luck in your quest to find the Motorhome right for you. We have.Cherrystone, Campground, VAWe are heading out on Saturday (8/20/16) for our annual week at Cherrystone Campground, on the Delmarva in VA. This will be our families 45 annual outing, personally my 15th. We love this campground, It's a little bit of heaven on earth. Nothing like disconnecting from the world for a week! Our party consists of 2 motorhomes, Ours is a 2015 Precept 36UN, My in-laws have 94 Bounder, and our friends have a 2016 Jayco Eagle 360 5th wheel. Family, friends, an awesome location, on the Chesapeake Bay, it doesn't get much better then this. Getting through these next two days at the office will be torture!!!!Re: Planning Yellowstone/Teton Trip (from Iowa)We are heading to Yellowstone Next August, 36' MH and a 40'er, We are staying at Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone, It's within several blocks to the Western Yellowstone entrance. I think we are staying 7 days in Yellowstone.Re: Your favorite campground for the view.....We really enjoy Cherrystone, It's in VA on the tip of the Delmarva, On the Chesapeake Bay, The sunsets are simply amazing. We spend at least a week there every year for the past 45 years.Re: Update on Sunset Beach VA Eastern ShoreRinger, When will you be in Cherrystone? We are there 20-27, Go every year, family has been going to CS for over 45 years. From the pictures I saw of Sunset, there are no trees, just sapling around, No shade, We too were going to take a look, but we don't prefer to stay in campgrounds with no trees.Re: Reimbursed for traveling to manufacturer?Wow I was just called a liar in a private message but another forum member who claimed I did not get what I stated in the above posts, Kinda set me back a little. Frankly I don't need it, be back in the future. You all have a great summer camping season. NickRe: Reimbursed for traveling to manufacturer?I had told Jayco I had plans prior to the RV being done, They even offered to bring it back to me for the weekend then pick it up. I declined that generous offer. (See my post above)
