Does HR still have OM on line?Re: Coach battery not holding chargeInverter left on?Re: Cummins 8.9 ISL problemsDouble check belt #s. My Alt belt is not the size listed in my OM. From pix on here it looks like my Alt is mounted slightly different. The Alt and AC belts are pretty easy to change otherwise.Re: How to keep Chassis batteries from dying w/genset onAmp L Start is another product that is easy to install. I was lucky that my House and the Chasis batteries were close to each other.Re: Number of Labor Hours for a Towed vehicle install? It depends on the mods needed to be made to the vehicle. Some are easy...bolt swap and no grill trimming for the brackets, comvenient place to mount the brake box and easy access for wiring runs, tail light diods, etc. Others are a real PITA and can easily be an 18hr task. Seen it both ways.Re: Winnebago Buys Chris-CraftThor bought Airstream so there is a parallel to economy buying quality.Re: RV State Inspection Northern VirginiaThere is a school bus maintenance company (Kingmon Bus) that does HM safety inspections. They did mine in 2013 & 2014. Given they are a school bus repair they won't go easy on the inspection. The only bad thing is they wont do repairs. In Manassas, close to I-66 and VA 234-Bypass. Close to the new Camping World (old Reines RV).Re: RV drinking Water HoseAs mentioned, your rig has 1/2" plumbing so except for faster filling the FW tank via an open/gravity fill port if so equipped. A threaded connected/piped port would be no difference (i.e. back to 1/2"). Pressure would be based on any restrictions in your rig and what psi the CG provides at their spigot. Hose quality is a separate discussion.Re: Delamination: deal breaker?Labor to repair would be painful. I saw an estimate of $8,000.00 (labor $135/hr plus parts) to repair delam under a window on a bumperpull toyhauler. Granted it looked severe on both inside and outside and was soft to touch.Re: Adding more solar panels question?I had (5) 100w panels on the roof by the original owner. -Unless the sun was directly overhead the panels loose efficiency at angles. -Going up on the roof and keeping the panels clean was a PITA. -(6) 6 volts to keep watered and since only 4 fit on the tray the other 2 were in the engine bay so I had to periodically balance (can't recall the correct term but it was a cycle of heavy charging to even out the bank). I only have a MSW Inverter so some stuff did not like it. So, is the expense still worth it for you?
