One hour, guaranteed results, and I read the newspaper.Re: Long Hot Showers in an RV?What exactly do people do in a long hot shower?? I get in, get wet, lather, rinse, get out. Takes about five minutes, at home, or on the road. What else is there? BTW, I'm like a baby...test the water with my elbow. i.e. body tempRe: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Dropped it yesterday for it's annual inspection. Since I have nothing planned for the holiday and others do, my Xplorer is at the back of the line. S'okay, the rain is going to wash away the holiday weekend here, anyway.Re: Did I buy a lemon? roadtrek ranger 2013Hang in there, don't give up and put out the for sale sign yet. I've never bought from a dealer, only old used campers. But I think you'll find a lot support here from others who know the ins and outs. Hold the dealer/manufacturer(s) to everything you can. At least get the current problems tended to before you put it on the market. Good luck!Re: woman travelling aloneI'm single and travel alone in a B. Pushed past 50 about 7 years ago. I have fewer safety concerns while on the road than I do at home. A can of hornet/wasp spray or oven cleaner is a very familiar item for me. More so than a handgun would be. And my fire extinguisher is already mounted handily by the door, which I do keep locked after dark. You'll be fine! If you come to Maine look me up. I'm on the site called boondockers welcome. We offer free parking spots for a night or more for like minded travelers.Re: What does your RV forum name mean?I was dragged into the internet age kicking and screaming when my DD, my firstborn, went away to college and it was new. Connecting seemed prudent and the person who set up my account suggested the username. My surname was in use so he simply added a 1 to it. To ease the burden on an aging mind I have used it whenever possible ever since!Re: 1989 Dodge Xplorer 4X4Too funny! I actually watched that original auction via my watch list on Ebay. Curious (and surprised) about the final price. I have an 86 Xplorer and like to see others and what they go for.Re: RV Rental - Good Experience - Camping WorldGreat to see a positive review. Usually only the negatives are heard from. I've told people to rent first myself, but without ever having done it I feel rather odd about it. Thanks!Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?Took the battery from the spare bedroom and put it back in. Started up just fine. Moved her about 20 feet. On Monday she goes a half mile up the road for the yearly inspection process. I was told last time that I'll need new brake lines. Oh well. I remember the drive home when I purchased her. Construction detour down an unfamiliar road with a stop sign at the bottom of a steep hill. When I stood on the brakes and felt the weight behind me I was so happy the brakes responded. I always want that feeling!Re: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?goreds2, why is it not good for the engine? I took the battery out for our long winter this year but have done the start/idle regularly in the past.
