I need to research that topic too. Also do RV manufactures who own different lines treat them like American Car lines such as Ford/Lincoln/Mercury or Chevy/GMC/Cadillac? How does that work with RV's.?Researching stagesMy husband and I will have more opportunity for longer travel in 3 1/2 years. I am researching Motorhomes so we can begin taking some weekend/holiday trips then eventually take some longer 2-3 week trips to the far corners and Canada. We do not plan to become full timers. We will use the motorhome for some SEC tailgating weekends. I originally was researching the Class C and A. I believe I have eliminated the Class C but we may still look at them. We plan to start looking at the dealers nearby and attend a Show in the next few months but I would like to have a better understanding of the manufacturers. I am open to a used recent model or possibly new. We will look at the 30-34 range as most of the time it will be 2 adults and our Pug. We will have weekends with extras and visits from our kids. I have done extensive research online. I would like to look at Newmar, Monaco/Holiday Rambler, Fleetwood, Winnebago/Itasca. It appears that Thor Tiffin and Forest River are available in abundance. We will absolutely drive several. I would like the option of bunks which will eliminate a few models. Thanks for any advice or opinions.
