Makes a shiver up your back.Re: Didn't use the camper at all this year.I feel your pain. We got ours out last October for the Field days, and we will be getting it out again this October again for the Field Days, nothing in between.Re: Truck Campers in Las VegasWE stayed there as few years ago, nice and clean. There was some shade right down the back against the fence. That's if the fence area is still there. Have a great time.Re: Another overload topic I simply fitted 4 bump stops to the bottom overload spring and that worked really well me.Re: New Backup and Docking LightsNice work there! Just a suggestion that we use, We have the usual lights but also have been putting the reversing lights on the truck, just under enough to not get rocks from the wheels and point them out at about 30 degrees, that way you light up the area your tires are going over, and hopefully any holes you might not otherwise see. This has saved a lot of damage to our trailers.Re: Mounting solar arrays to the roof of a BigfootHMS, thanks for the update, I have been collecting info to do my panel install. Unfortunately I have a rubber roof, so will be using screws as well as adhesive.Re: adhesive for solar panel to rubber roofYep jmckelvy, that's what I went for, "white self-levelling". Just need time to do it now, the real work has given me a few or 6 breakdowns to work on first. Suppose it pays the bills so I can do stuff to the TC.Re: adhesive for solar panel to rubber roofWell, what do you know....the local RV stockist has the Dicor, and at a reasonable price. I'm on my way. Suppose you just have to know what to look for, thanks again everyone.Re: adhesive for solar panel to rubber roofSo, I got up on the roof last night after all this info came in. Only to find that I had ordered a 250w instead of a 200w panel, not too much drama I suppose. Except that it only just fits between the AC and the side of the roof. So no tilting for this panel, which should make it easier to "glue and screw" it down. Again, thanks everyone for your help.Re: adhesive for solar panel to rubber roofI must thank you all for that over whelming response, I thought that I was going mad after the sales rep said "just use adhesive" then the little voice in my head kept chanting " you're gunna lose it". I will have to look for that Dicor down here and I already have some Eternabond tape left over from another job. Again, I really appreciate you all speaking up. It would have bee devastating loosing the roof and panel...and fantastic fans....and AC. Just gives you that bad feeling in your gut.
