Arizona is a beautiful location, temperature wise...but Yuma can be windy...the Phoenix valley has the same great temperatures, much better city access, and has little wind...Re: Arizona sugestionsHappy Trails RV resort in Surprise Arizona......great amenities..great guests...lots of activities....and the weather is sooooooooo much better than along the Colorado with the canyon winds..Re: Colorado Riverwe have wintered in Havasu and Yuma........temps are decent, BUT.....the wind...the wind blows...I hate chilly, blustery days... the Phoenix valley is much better.....Re: Best Northern Summer CampgroundsI was hoping someone would comment on the Arizona mts.....I plan to go somewhere there in a trailer next summer....we like activities...where to go? How is Show Low...or Flagstaff...or somewhere else.......thanks.Re: SunbirdHow about somewhere cooler, but still in Arizona? We would like a resort RV park that has shuffleboard, billiards, quilting and bingo...does anyone know of such a park in the northern or north-eastern part of Arizona? thanks....Re: Getting Rid of my Dual Cam system dodge guy wrote: Thanks for the links, but it still looks like a mickey mouse design to me. I don`t see the friction material on the ball shank doing much for sway control! And the hitch still transfer weight just like a typical "bar" based WD system. it just pulls back on the bottom of the hitch. which by the way puts alot of pressure against the coupler latch, which it was never designed for! I have seen others comment about the pressure the Andersen puts on the coupler latch...it looks to me as though it provides the same sort of rotational force to the ball to move weight to the front of the TV...in other words virtually the same in that force as the Reese or Equalizer....what am I missing? thanks.Re: Shiny RV with Red Max Pro (pics)Has anyone used ZEP or one of the equivalent products to shine their truck paint? A fellow near me in a park in Az this past winter, used a spray bottle and cloth or sponge...he would spray and wipe. The results looked good....and it didn't look hard to do......I wish now I had asked him what he used. Discussions about Zep and how nice it looks on fiberglass makes me wonder if there is a downside to putting it on a truck.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier NetAndDavid wrote: I just put a set of Air Lift helper bags on my T.V. along with an onboard air compressor and I'm here to tell you that they are well worth the money. The actual install took about 2.5 hours, then another 1.5 to make everything hidden and all pretty like. Prior to the install my truck would sag about 2 inches with the trailer dry, now nothing. I hooked up after I finished set the bags to 75lbs and the aft end of my truck doesn't even look like there is anything on it. The air bags along with some after market tow mirrors, and we are ready for our cross country move this fall. Do you have weight distribution bars or chains on your hitch? I ask because I do have an equalizer, but still have some sag in the rear springs..it seems, no matter how much "lift" I put on the bars. I wondered if air bags might be warranted in my case...I haven't seriously considered it because I thought the W/D system was supposed to put as much weight on the front as the rear......mine puts some weight on the front, but the rear is still lower..Re: Keystone Bullet PremierDoes anyone know of a deep discounter for the Bullet Premeir? I did find one that handles the Bullet only.... If the Premeir is not available from a discounter...about what price is one having to pay for a 288RLS, or equivalent?Re: Keystone Bullet Premierno..I haven't ordered anything yet.. I like the Evergreen for the non-wood construction..the price, not so much... The Bullet has a very nice look...especially with the body paint..that gets pricey with the upgrades of the Premeir, as well. I have gotten a quote from a discounter on a North Trail that was about $9000 below the MSRP...and surprised me it would be that large a discount........why didn't I buy it?......it is at the top end of weight I want to pull, while the Bullet and Evergreen are more than 1000# lighter...still thinking.
