That is called vinyl screw cover...Babette's RV and Marine Supply has a presence on e-bay...do a google search and the e-bay link will come up...They sell it by the foot and I bought enough to redo the white vinyl on my Keystone Outback that was mildewed...they also have other colors including black.471Views0likes0CommentsRe: Replacing Power Awning Fabric
There IS a spring. Roll it out a very short distance, put a pin (long cotter pin) through the hole in the left end upper bracket, tie the arms on both ends so they don't expand out, unbolt both end brackets and get some help to lift the brackets out of the arms. Unroll the awning down towards the ground, slide the cloth out of the tube then the upper rail. Reverse for installation, and don't forget to remove the cotter pin...extend and retract a couple of times to make sure all is well. Many years ago when I worked at a Ford dealership that sold RVs at TTs, I worked on a class A that was insulated with spray foam from the factory...I had to chisel the foam away to get access to the wiring to repair an electrical problem...There is no way I'd do that.957Views0likes0CommentsRe: Any of you guys winterizing with air only?
Been using air only for about 15 years on two different 5th wheels...empty the water heater first, pressurize the system, open faucets one at a time until I get air only, hold the toilet flush valve until I get air only, put pink stuff in the drains, and open the low point drains...maybe 15 minutes if I take my time, and have never had a problem.245Views0likes0Comments
