It picks up free Wifi signals in the area you can tap into. You set up a password for your router. It has been working well so far.Re: When you accidently turn your Truck Camper Fridge offOur fridge is beside the entry door in our TT, if you brush against the fridge you could turn it off. Has happened many times but we have caught each time soon after, camping gods are watching over us (so far).Re: First Trip through Canada & into Alaska - Many Questions!Did this trip last summer, GMC 1500 pulling a 27' Catalina. Roads are good with plenty of hills in northern BC and Yukon but just take it easy and should be no issues. Book the busier camp areas early before your trip ie Dawson Creek, lots of caravans take the campgrounds. Ones I didn't pre book I arrived at a decent time around 4pm. Cell coverage is very sparse so make sure your units are well maintained. Gas I never had an issue with except on the Yellowhead Hwy in SaskatchewanRe: free streaming videoI am currently in the US and running a Roku stick and all the channels operate good except CBC Gem, Global or CTV, they don't because I am in the US.Re: Rv TVAs for Roku or a firestick they require wifi and most parks the wifi is poor or weak and won't support streaming. Many park rules say no streaming. We just use DVDs.Re: Easy way to raise trailer's nose while hitched in campgroundI have seen people put wood down then back the truck onto the wood to raise the hitch. Seems to work. I have just left everything hooked up, WD, safety chains etc but undid the hitch pin and raise the tongue of the trailer. Then in the morning just lower the tongue onto the ball and leave , works for me.Re: Happy ThanksgivingHappy Thanksgiving to you too. Thank full to live where I do, warts and all!!!!Re: Haloview byte tango wireless system.I have an older Haloview wireless camera on the back of my 30 ft TT with the antenna below the roof line of the trailer. It works great every year with clear pictures and sound in the truck cab Got the adapter plug to hook into the Fusion connector from Amazon.WiFi extenderHas anyone used or had experience with the KING KS1000 Swift WiFiMax Wi-Fi Router/Range Extender. I know people have posted to use a hotspot but being in Canada I don't have access to AT+t or others. I am just looking to extend park wifi to our trailer. Some reviews state its good other rate it as a waste of $$. Thought? Thankscross winds?I have a Husky Friction Sway Control and while driving in a cross wind (not strong enough to stop) is it better to tighten the friction bar or loosen it to try to reduce the effect of the wind on the driving vehicle? thanks
