I've been looking at rv solar info on youtube for awhile and Tito has the best page. Just search rvwithTito. Simple but thorough.Re: Durango, CO to Grand Junction, CO without using Hwy 550?I'm not going on these roads right now, but will be very happy to review these comments in October when I head west and north. Thanks for all you guys who are keepin' it real!Re: Full timingMixed reactions on FT RV. All loans and ccards want to see your risk analysis and whether you have an income or not. Your insurance will change on your rv also once your carrier finds out you're on the road more now that you're a "FT RV" risk. Be very careful how you reveal your new status to your creditors and your risk carriers. If you have any family at all who will let you use their address as a sound location for risk and credit grounding, use it. Have them scan and email you any mail that comes to you and give them a nice Christmas present in return.Re: RVer selecting health insuranceInsurance is another form of gambling. You pay high premiums now for better coverage and spend less out of pocket later "when" something happens; or pay low premiums now for less coverage and spend more out of pocket if something happens. Insurance bought today usually is approved and effective within a week or two. Not too many survive the elevator falling because they jump just before it hits bottom. Obamacare will likely hold tax returns hostage or even payroll tax withholding or tax liens to get those who try and escape mandatory healthcare.Re: Need advice for a first time MH renter in the Atlanta areaI rented a couple years ago from the ones with gorving.com logo on the side. I am a contract reader - not signing until I read it. But they didn't seem to mind. It's wise the first time because it's different than a car rental. Also helps know how to get all your deposit back. The fun thing about the big painted sign on the outside was that, all the big trucks backed up, moved over, and got out of the way when they saw me coming. "Rent me" says, "inexperienced, potentially dangerous driver coming through." One thing the adventure with my daughter and 3 grandchildren taught me was, one loved it and the others were glad-we-had-this-time-together, but won't be asking to come on the next trip. My personal insurance lady said "buy the package" because your car insurance won't touch it and you can't get complete coverage outside the rental contract. Safe travels to you renters. One more thing: take card games and board games for the drive - leave the electronic games at home.
