Re: New camper, first modifications!Sense you added 5 additional outlets, keep in mind the total amps/wattage you are going to strain the existing wire which I assume is #14 that goes to a 15A circuit. Be on the cautious side when adding additional items. The LED will have little effect on the circuit.Recall for Front Window - Venture SonicReceived a call from KZ-RV parent company of Venture RV, telling me they want to send me the front window for my TT and I was to then set up an appointment with a certified Venture Dealer to have it installed. This was all about a month ago, sense I have received the window and all is good checked it out, made the appointment right away with a dealer, and will be taking it in next week for replacement. I had no idea it even needed replacement beforehand, they told me it could have a crack and or will leak water. I was surprised when I went out to look at the window. Outside it was just fine, when I went inside it had a crack from top to bottom. I've never had the manufacture call me and tell me I needed work. Usually they just send out a letter and you may get it or not. Kudos to KZ.Re: Plug to Camper problem, it's loose in its receptacle on RVthanks guys. I'm convinced it is the twist lock connector. As stated by Bud, it is big and heavy. There is no way into this molded piece. The receptacle on the RV is in good shape. A right angle 50a connector would probably cost as much as a new cable LOL.Re: Plug to Camper problem, it's loose in its receptacle on RVSometimes a picture really doesn't help, but I'll get one and send it next. Best explanation I have is pull or plug your main cable into your RV and note how tight it is, mine is extremely loose when I plug it in, not normal. All parts look good just too loose.Plug to Camper problem, it's loose in its receptacle on RVSo, hoping the statement in subject line is clear, but if it isn't. I noticed today that the 50amp plug on my main service cable is loose when I turn it into the receptacle on the RV. Can this be tightened by bending the electrical tabs on the receptacle in the RV, and if so what way should I slightly bend them, in or out?Re: Wheels off the ground "Does it Hurt the frame/RV"It says I'm the manual to not raise with the wheels off the ground. With that being said, when I rase mine that high I put blocks under the wheels. I have a full slide and it can effect that over time. By my research the longest Class C is, the Jayco Seneca at 39' 1"Re: Solera Power Awning problemMy new motor came today, it was an easy switch over, except for one small surprise. I tied off the arm about two feet from the motorhome wall so as not to let the roller go rolling away when I removed the motor. So I removed two bolts from the motor and while loosening the third bolt I noticed there was a tension still on the roller, of course it had to be the material (about two feet worth) was starting to make a big U, LOL, the weight of the material between the two polls was enough to run the roller. So I had to hold the roller from running remove the old motor and install the new motor with the bolts again. Now to make up the connection. OK put it all together and works great full out. And it works all the way back in, but, it is still so slow coming back in. I guess it must have always done that as I just don't remember, my memory isn't what it used to be. But it works, and that is what I care about. I checked voltage at the battery and I have 13.5 volts (I have 600watts of solar on the roof.Re: Solera Power Awning problemThank you both. I had that feeling that was it. I didn't think of Amazon, I'll check that out. Again, ThanksSolera Power Awning problemI have the 20' Solera Power Awning it's now five years old and has always worked for me, but......I just noticed today; I extended it but when I brought it back in, it must be moving at about ΒΌ the speed it used to. It always moved just a little slower than going out, but now, it must have taken almost 3 minutes to retract. I was thinking, great I have to use the manual to get it back in, and I'm thinking where I can get a ladder, but it did make it. But now I am afraid to extend it as it just may not make it back, I suppose if I had a 6' ladder with me I could manually do it but I don't. Any suggestions, or has anyone had this happen to them?
