Only problem was that air conditioning was running at same time. My thermostat was set to furnace NOT cool. Tried shutting it down and restarting but both where still running. Finally turned off the A/C breaker in panel to shut it down and have heat only... Any idea what would cause this?No propane Help!!!Set up my TT for second time, turn on propane up front tanks but no propane anywhere in TT...did I forget to turn something on? I filled tank last weekRe: Is it good enough? The trailer weight is 4963. The trailer length is 32 feet with the pin included. The journey to travel is about 3 to 10 miles. Just so to be clear. You all say No?Is it good enough? All of you answered pretty much all of my questions on truck recommendations last time. Only thing is that a couple of things have changed... 1. A Toyota Tacoma TRD has come up that I almost can't pass up 2. We decided to not travel around barely at all. The fact is that the trailer will be pulled a maximum of 3 to 15 miles. For this, Would the Tacoma be sufficient for such a short ride? Trailer is 32 foot with Pin weighing in at 4963lbs. Tacoma can "Handle" 6500 lbs. I am thinking for such short distances that it would be adequate and this is about 7-8 times a year...what do you think? LennyRe: What do you use to stabilize when parked?I should of specified that my TT is a 2011 and has scissor jacks on each corner. The challenge is that most time they won't touch down directly because of height so I have to meet them halfway at least. So I am looking for best solution for that specifically. Looks like your picture of jack stands is exactley what I am looking for, just wanted to grab opinions to make sure it's the best route. What do you use to stabilize when parked? After my first weekend of camping, the one glaring thing I need to take care of is how I stabilize my TT when it's parked. This weekend I used Misc pieces of wood, but someone recommended I get jack stands for this. Any suggestions?Re: Truck or SUV recommendationsJust to be clear I already own the trailer :) So I am stuck with what I have... The type of camping we plan on doing is full services (Sewer/Electric/Water) for sure. The distances we will travel will be a maximum of 300 miles and I have a family of four, 2 kids wife and myself. We will be bringing pedal bikes, coolers etc. As for experience this weekend was my first time in a TT and thanks to all my friendly neighbors and family I got through it :) I absolutely love it! Also thanks to all of you for the feedback :)Re: Truck or SUV recommendationsThanks for sharing :) I plan on hauling around so I don't think I would go any bigger or heavier for now anyways :)Re: Truck or SUV recommendationsThe Sticker inside the cabinet says 4963 with no water etc. I am probably going to get a Ford f150 with the 5.4 or the Toyota Tundra if I can affort it :)Truck or SUV recommendationsI am looking for recommendations on what kind of truck or SUV to buy to pull my travel trailer. The trailer is a ultra light, 32 feet long with pin and weighs in at 4936 dry. I have looked into a Toyota Tacoma TRD that hauls 6500 lbs but some have told me that I would be pushing it's boundaries too much. What are your opinions? I would prefer SUV but willing to look at truck like Tundra, F150 or Dodge Ram Hemi...
